Stay ConnectedAmanda and John, friends for over 20 years, come together to discuss all things Sex and the City (and SATC adjacent!). Join us as we lovingly snark along with each episode, and feel all those feels from the early 2000’s. The fashion, the storylines, the friendships, the MEN. Some are outdated, but so many more are just timeless!

This episode might be the greatest example of why Samantha needs to FIND NEW FRIENDS. Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte laugh and make light of Samantha actually making a HEALTHY dating decision (because all of them are just NAILING IT?). Carrie thinks that having a good orgasm warrents the entire world shutting down, Miranda has to choose between getting fat or getting laid, and Charlotte and Trey finally have no more marital issues...for now. Enjoy!!!

We continue this streak of amazingly well written and well acted episodes by introducing some iconic characters: Maria, Ray the jazz guy, and who could forget Jim Gaffigan, the man who poops with the door open? Big and Carrie flirt with the idea of being “just friends m” while keeping the possibility of sex open. Carrie continues to be a horrible friend not just to her girlfriends, but now to Mr. Big… A man she actually loves. Samantha proves that she is the ultimate true friend by standing up for Carrie behind her back and not just to be performative. Meanwhile, Charlotte does her best to make her situation with Trey as complicated as possible, even though most of the issues from before are now solved. Enjoy!!!

We have practically no notes for this AMAZING episode of SATC! Things are really hitting a groove this season over at HBO, despite MPK being the sole show runner at this point. Carrie's outfits and hair are unmatched throughout this entire episode, Cynthia Nixon is feeling silly and looking fabulous, Charlotte is a judgemental B but at lesat she introduces us to Anthony for the first time, and Samantha continues to be the #1 Girl BESTIE in the world. Enjoy!!!

WE ARE BACK IN THE GOOD DAYS!! Pre-AJLT, Pre-9/11, Pre-Carrie/Miranda/Charlotte lobotomies! The era of amazing writing, truly funny jokes, and top notch acting! The chemistry between every actor here is enough to bring us to tears! And you guys? The season is only getting better from here! On this episode, Carrie's 35th bday party turns into a comedic tragedy that left all of us going through all the ranges of emotions. Samantha also tries to bed a priest, Miranda performs a tight five at an engagement party, and Charlotte and Trey try to figure out where to go from here now that the D works. Enjoy!!!

We have reached the end of this season (we guess), and are left with mostly questions that we aren't even sure we want answered. At what point is somebody going to slap Miranda across the face and tell her to SNAP OUT OF IT??? This is friendship?? Carrie is too busy mantaining a friendship with Bobby Lee, even though these two would never be friends in real life but sure. Charlotte and Harry deal with Rock's refusal to participate in their own They Mitzvah, but now that we are softened on Rock a bit, we have slightly different takes on this storyline than in our first watch.
NEXT WEEK WE GO BACK TO THE CLASSICS!!! SATC S4 E1 BAYBEE!!!! We truly can't wait. Enjoy!!!
