22. Homeschool Learning Styles/How They Learn Best Nov 16, 2022

Show notes

Today we’re talking about homeschool learning styles and how our kids learn best. Some kids learn best by reading, some by listening, some by seeing, and some by doing. If we are teaching a child who needs hands-on learning by only having them read out of a textbook, they may not be learning much. If, instead, we figure out how each of our kids learn best, we can tune into the best ways to homeschool them. Taking a learning assessment can help with this. 20. Homeschool Legislation & Advocacy Nov 02, 2022

Show notes

The laws in your state determine what is required for homeschoolers in your state. Are you aware of the bills in your state each year? Listen to today’s episode about how Emma & Beth (and their kids) have advocated for homeschooling by speaking out in the legislature against cumbersome bills that affect education and homeschooling. Teaching your children to advocate for themselves and others, to participate in our government, and to stand up for their beliefs is an important learning experience in the lives of all children and citizens. You and your children each have a voice; be sure to use yours and to teach them to use theirs.
