This conversation started in Episode 309 and today continues with Joey and two of his former, female co-workers. Was the "Billy Graham Rule" needed between him and these two friends (the co-workers), Sarah Eller and Liz Miller? While Joey and Sarah are more comfortable with taking into consideration many of the cautions this rule represents, Liz finds it dated and believes it may be needed for "sad reasons." The three discuss some angles of "the rule" in a way that only friends would be able to.

In a text thread the "host team" uses to communicate with one another, Joey sent a racial joke (video) for laughs. You can view video here if you'd like it for extra context.
(It's also described in the conversation, so viewing isn't necessary)
Regardless of the joke not being sent with ill-intentions, damage was done to Stoy and the whole team was involved on that text thread. This hang-out of some of the hosts, recorded for this episode, is the first time the team came together since Joey's insensitive blunder.
The host team of Pastor With No Answers Podcast are actually friends in real life, some of them just getting to know one another. Joey and Stoy were friends through school- age but after losing contact for almost 30 years, have rekindled their friendship as men.

Episode 5 of the New Era of PWNA, and it's all about conspiracies and why our guests feel that Christians gravitate toward them. Mike Austin and Greg Bock join Jed and Hayne to talk about their book, "QAnon, Chaos, and the Cross." The book addresses what these guys believe to be the rise in Christians believing conspiracy theories and white nationalism amongst western evangelical Christianity. They also discuss the pitfalls of these things and where they think we are headed as a culture.

Pastor With No Answers is back with a new era of the podcast. The same sorts of conversations and vibe with nine more hosts, including lots of Christians, an atheist, three gay people, that same ‘ol pastor, 2 black guys from the deep south, and a firefighter.
In Part 4, Amy describes why her faith is so strong while Ellen and Matt explain why she sounds fearful and also administers some peer pressure for her to read books from other religions. Matt is glad he doesn’t have kids and Ellen will not take too kindly to her kids in the event that they don't supply grandkids.

At top of episode, Jed proposes that the next big debate in the church will be whether or not people can marry and have sexual relations with robots.

Pastor With No Answers is back with a new era of the podcast. The same sorts of conversations and vibe with nine more hosts, including lots of Christians, an atheist, three gay people, that same ‘ol pastor, 2 black guys from the deep south, and a firefighter.

In episode 3, Alex shares with Robbie, Jed and Joey how coming out of the closet almost cost her life, the three also talk on Christians who seem to often have more tolerance for the very things the bible has the sternest warnings against. The things way less talked about and addressed in the bible? Zero tolerance. And some how they stumbled into a conversation on some nuances of Francis Chan. Joey feels he has a deeper understanding of evangelicals’ views on the LGBTQ community and Robbie saw the church's recent spike of "un-Jesus-like" actions toward gay people coming a mile away.
At the top of the episode, Liz, Stoy and Hayne wrap up their conversation, (in Episode 2) in which Hayne and Stoy look out out for their new buddy (Liz), encouraging her to see her "church hurt” through different lenses. And in an apocalypse, they discuss who in the host crew they’d want to accompany them.

Bekah McNeel joins to talk about her book, "Bringing Up Kids When Church Lets You Down: A Guide for Parents Questioning Their Faith." Joey recounts the angst of feeling ill-equipped to guide his kids spiritually through recent years and the peaceful place he and his kids have landed. Bekah outlines a correlation between the doctrine of hell and unhealthy parenting, shares the power of repentance and apology with our kids, and gives a snapshot of her book that covers all the bases of parenting amidst deconstruction and questioning of faith.
How do we teach our kids reverence for God without instilling the "stern and stoic being" narrative we were taught? How do we guide our kids in their interactions with pop culture without being legalistic? Why can all parents take a deep breath and not parent out of fear?
