Pirates of the Caribbean (Rec. 3) May 05, 2024

Show notes

A complete ride thru of Pirates of the Caribbean. This is my 3rd recording as I have been trying to get this right. I kind of use Pirates as a testing ground since I have a good understanding of how I want this one to sound. This one has relatively few distractions.

Rec. 1 - Episode 8
Rec. 2 - Episode 52

Fire of the Rising Moons - Galaxy’s Edge Fireworks Score Recorded Live Apr 08, 2024

Show notes

The new "Fire of the Rising Moons" experience takes the park's regular fireworks display and adds a thrilling Star Wars soundtrack, exclusively heard within Galaxy’s Edge. Previously, the fireworks themselves were visible from the land, but lacked a dedicated musical accompaniment.

To fully transport guests to a galaxy far, far away, Disney has crafted a soundscape of iconic Star Wars themes that complements the fireworks display. This experience debuted during the "Wondrous Journeys" nighttime spectacular, and is expected to become a regular feature. The score is likely to be adapted to match the length and dramatic moments of whichever fireworks show is presented on a particular night.

This was the first non-preview show as the first show debuted on 4/5/24 with cancelled fireworks.

Audio recorded on Saturday 4/6/24 at 9:30pm. Temperature was in the low 50s, slight breeze, clear skies.

Housekeeping and World Celebration BGM Mar 23, 2024

Show notes

Without normally speaking in these recordings, I needed to find a way to share updates and go over a few housekeeping items. These types of additional episodes will include a few moments that wouldn’t be long enough for a full standalone episode.

Today, take a moment to relax and with some audio of the World Celebration music recorded by @CoreyWDW on X.
