Performance Anxiety: John Robb (The Membranes, Goldblade) Jun 24, 2021
    Show notes

Post Punk legend and founder of The Membranes and Goldblade, John Robb. Before we go any further, the connection John and I had was not great. A million thanks to Jordon Zadorozny of Blinker The Star for helping to fix it as much as humanly possible. I’m releasing it, even with less than perfect audio because the conversation was great with some killer stories. John has been everywhere, done everything, and knows everybody! He tells me about playing punk gigs in church basements as a kid, playing illegal gigs in Czechoslovakia, and building a bass guitar out of driftwood. He’s one of the few people I know who has been even more productive during the pandemic than before! He also discusses his music website Louder Than War and how he started interviewing musicians. Another million thanks goes out to Rob Marshall of Humanist for getting John and I connected. Check out louderthanwar.com. Follow John on social media. He’s a great follow. Follow us @PerformanceAnx. Rate & review the shows! We accept coffee at ko-fi.com/performanceanxiety. Merch is found at performanceanx.threadless.com. Now let’s dive right into a great chat with John Robb on Performance Anxiety on the Pantheon Podcast Network.

Each guitar has a story behind it that will make music history buffs excited. Classic rock fans, guitar geeks and memorabilia mavens will want to listen to this episode as well.
