Ferrara was the creator and co-founder of the award-winning customer management product GoldMine. In 1999, Goldmine was acquired by FrontRange and Ferrara left to pursue other interests. Shannon and Jon discuss the importance and value of knowing your customers, best practices for documenting that information to benefit both the sales team and the company as a whole. They also touched on the concept of social selling and using social media as one of your primary channels of engagement towards your current and future customers.
