Week 2 Recap: 48-33 WIN over Texas A&M Sep 10, 2023

It was a roller coaster of a game, but a HUGE WIN for the University of Miami, as they knock off the Texas A&M Aggies 48-33 at Hard Rock Stadium. Toast and Scoop agree that it was the best they felt leaving the stadium after a big win in a long time, and Roman got loud in a Chilis because he's out on the road for his son's baseball tournament.

Everyone throws roses at Tyler for an epic performance, and reinforces that Dawson's offensive strategy is built for a guy like TVD. When A&M took away the run, they adjusted, and Tyler showed the nation just how good he is. Plus great play from the O-Line down the stretch, some great play in the secondary, and everyone is relieved that Kam appears to be just fine after the scary scene on the field.

Get ready for a short week, with Bethune-Cookman on Thursday night, and everyone needs to see a huge blowout to really keep the momentum moving. Overall a GREAT week to be a Canes fan!!

Our first recap show of the year is a fun one! The Canes totally dominated Miami of Ohio in the Week 1 match-up at Hard Rock Stadium, with a decisive 38-3 victory. Everyone recaps what they loved about the huge win and dive right into the game breakdown.

The defense showed in Week 1 just how good they can be, allowing only two third down conversions for Miami of Ohio. This gave everyone some positive momentum going into next week's game against Texas A&M. Plus we break down the play of the offensive line, Tyler's efficient game management, and the dominance of the running game across several talented backs.

Scoop is back from Orlando and actually chased down an armadillo on the golf course, tempting fate against leprosy as he ran drunk around a golf course. We also head down to Greentree to discuss all the notes from our insider at fall camp, with details on the performance of the offense line, the stand out play of Ruben Bain, and the talented depth at cornerback for the defense.

We also dive into the buzz around UM's depth at quarterback, with Tyler Van Dyke, Jacurri Brown and Emory Williams - and how everyone feels better about our QB depth than they have in a long time because apparently all three are balling out at camp.

Conference realignment is all over the road and the OBBs all present their best options on how the ACC and the Pac12 move forward. Plus Toast and Scoop gets fired up when talking about why FSU has been so well ranked going into the season.

Plus we enjoy the wild baseball fight of the week between Tim Anderson and Jose Ramirez, and debate the public debacle of the Baltimore Orioles for suspending broadcaster Kevin Brown for reading a TV graphic about how bad the team used to be. Football practices have started and the excitement level for the coming season is high amongst the OBBs. Toast is drinking the Kool-Aid for the first time this offseason. Scoop agrees on the basis that Tyler's healthy year was not a fluke, and Ro says if Tyler can stay upright and manage to get into the Heisman conversation it's going to be a huge bounceback year.

We also break down the most annoying fan bases in college football, with UF and Texas A&M coming in strong on our list. And there's a sincere confession from Scoop that Ohio State was actually his first love in college football. Florida State has also spoken out about their situation in the ACC and all the guys agree that schools like FSU and UM are stuck in the conference, largely due to their television rights package.

Scoop is also worried about the leprosy outbreak in central Florida as he heads to Orlando this week to play golf, and the woman aboard the Spirit Airlines flight that peed at the flight attendants station gets our full support.
