One World in a New World with Clive Elliott QC - Author, Barrister, Change Agent

We start off with a rather horrific event that moved Clive deeply. You'll find out exactly what it was early in our conversation. He felt that he needed to try to find what made the world seem to be dysfunctional and to try to find the root of that. What did he find?

He researched countries that seemed to be ahead with happiness and satisfying lives, and he found Finland to be among the top. He did a sample of comparisons to discover discrepancies and similarities. He interviewed a lot of thought leaders, then wrote his book, The Power of Wellbeing.

Then we go inside and inquire of Clive's reflection from the inside looking out. An introvert by nature, he thinks and reads a lot, he felt he opened himself up to share what he found and thought, regardless of opinions of other. It felt like he exposed himself to the world, quite different from the court of law that was familiar.

How do we get in touch with our reticence and overcome it when we feel vulnerable? Clive mentions 'toxic masculinity' as a major factor in how our society has evolved. Learning how to move away from it is our challenge. He states the focus really needs to be on the environment and sustainability.

Clive goes on to speak to the point of reciprocity and the balance of activity, away from that which is aggressive toward or harmful to another. His training is to learn how to attack facts, not people. We tend to feel confronted with questions, though. How do we get beyond that?

How does he express the need for learning how to step back and reflect during perceived confrontation? He mentions context being king. Then the content can be examined more fully. Often the misunderstanding is brought to light and truth of fact emerges. Reciprocity again is what is offered and shared in practice.

Clive grew up during Apartheid in South Africa, completely oblivious because of white man's rule. He has been fascinated with the Ubuntu principle: I am because we are. The Maori people from New Zealand believe what is important is the people, the people, the people.

There's more inside, and you're invited to visit.

One World in a New World with Lexis Johnson - International Best Selling Author

It's always interesting how the subtle indicators we follow, once we've learned they are there, lead to wonderful opportunities, like conversing with such amazing people throughout my guest list.

Before long the conversation yields to relating stories about wise men and women in our lives that literally capitalize on the use of esoteric arts. Why not? The reflections from Lexis and Zen offer interesting insights as well.

Faced with hearing loss and various health issues, Lexis relates that studying alternative medicine and physical therapies. Now she includes astrology and other esoteric arts, as well as of some of the 'Clair-alls,' such as clairaudience and claircognizance, in her current practice.

Science, minus the materialism, might be discovering these abilities, too. The conversation weaves into indigenous realms and about abilities we've had that have gone into fallow. It seems the emergent moment, coming 'out of,' is stimulated from the depths of our being.

Perhaps it is a Evolutionary Upwising in a Great Weset, using our attention, intention and interaction. Lexis relates that the awareness of our focus also brings what we seek into our vision and world. We touch on the Live and Let Live Movement philosophy.

We move into the aspects of leadership needed for now and the future - empowered women and men. Lexis begins with a comment the Dalai Lama made about how the world needs a woman. We've attributed all the caring, emotional and nurturing kind of qualities to the feminine. The conversation deepens again.

Lexis admits a proclivity toward introversion for many years, yet eventually found her free agency and inner strength catapulted her into a new living awareness and a world of plenty. We're caught in the conspiracy of lack and scarcity. That ain't necessarily so.

We dive even deeper toward the end of our time, exploring and relating various challenges and ways to move through or overcome them with better choices, sense making and results. Listen in for more, especially in our closing moments, for some real gifts.

One World in a New World with Brian Kelly - Featured Author, Team Development Consultant

An apocalyptic chat that will offer many points to ponder. We start off with exploring Brian's opening debut in his coaching certification program. He found vulnerability didn't mean weak, which is the understanding he had held. Listen in to how he progressed as it may be familiar.

How do we get out of our minds and into a greater sensory capacity beyond it. We both found that the process is often very similar in any type of program, it's the individual experience and expression that varies in discovering the blocks or bottlenecks to our flow.

What are the generational challenges across personal growth and development, inclusive of emotional intelligence? Being congruent with having an inner compass and willingness to be different allows a greater expression of the individual outside the less than productive educational structures we've had.

What if we taught our children/students to teach each other? Zen mentions that statistically, 40% of material is retained through passive learning while 98% is retained by teaching it. We still have teachers delivering instead of students learning and teaching each other.

We return to the notion of vulnerability and the anxiety-ridden considerations of being true to oneself, sharing from an authentic place and not caring what others think about it. Our conversation moves into some interesting directions.

These factors all impact the ability of an organizational leadership and staff to embrace a growing self-awareness/group-awareness. Question begin with, "What's getting in the way?" Many factors are considered, from the gross to the finer.

The aspects of consideration include organizational structure to emotional intelligence to psychological safety and intellectual humility to being aware of subtle energy. From best practices in business to a kind of quantum physics aspect of the 'Clair-alls' or what used to be called 'psychic senses.'

Explore the conversation for your own tasty tidbits of transformation as it will cause you to consider perspectives you may have held sacred until now. Loosen up, dive in, let it flow and garner your pearls. How do you invite flow into your life, your relationships and/or your work?

One World in a New World with Stephen Bassett - Paradigm Research Group

Do you believe we're being visited by UFOs? Steve has been a lobbyist for government disclosure of the UFO presence in our skies around the world. His story doesn't particularly have a spiritual awakening, though his passion for this topic began as a young boy and continues.

His interest in science and sci-fi, especially with aliens, prompted a deeper exploration into the UFO phenomena. As he matured, even as a teen, he knew the reports of UFOs and interviews of witnesses clearly indicated an extraterrestrial presence. Surprisingly, he's never had a direct experience with a UFO in his 30+ years of advocating disclosure.

Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man on the moon, was a speaker at an event Zen managed in Phoenix a couple of decades ago. Edgar revealed that on their way to the surface of the moon in the Lunar Excursion Module, a metallic silver cylinder was spiraling around the LEM nearly all way down to the surface. He knew it was nothing from Earth and wondered how long the inhabitants controlling it had been on the Moon.

Steve goes on to talk about the world-wide phenomena of the disc-shaped craft showing up at ICBM sites and literally shutting off the power to everything. He and many others are still curious as to why they did that. Speculation might lean toward sending a message that they were protecting people of Earth from themselves. We don't know.

Will our government disclose information about the UFO presence? Steve mentions presidential candidates, advisors and reporters that had chronicled their involvement in over 400 articles written around the world at the time.

Imagine the challenge across agencies in the government that held information, such as the Military Industrial Complex, that were the reason for the 'truth embargo' and 'protectors' of the nation. Alas, the plans were thwarted as the candidate wasn't elected.

Steve shares much more of his longstanding investigation and tumultuous journey to bring the UFO mystery to light, from National Press Conferences to Congressional Hearings.

One World in a New World with Dr. Marc B Cooper - Author, Elder Senior Consultant

We dive into the world of elder wisdom and a discussion from an elder's perspective of how they are being treated today. Marc's experience is that the garnering of wisdom from the geriatrically gifted is missed by the society today. Elders are just seen as old people with little value.

Zen's counter is that he and others like him relish the mentorship of elders, noting several of his own that are in their 80s and still highly functional with expertise and experience that is priceless to others. The reality is he is rare and that indeed, elders aren't viewed as valuable.

Marc admits that intellectually he didn't have an awareness of his connection with others, nature and life when he was young. That came later. He felt like it was more somatic, and experience outside his intellect, of being in nature and enjoying its virtues. His insights from longevity and a keen mind are well worth the view.

If this is going to be the way it is, negating our indigenous cultures and ignoring our connections to each other, what's next? He askes a pertinent and poignant question of, 'How can people alter there perception of that which is going on around them in such a way that the hostility diminishes and people don't always have to be right?'

Marc relates that we have a one in four hundred billion chance of being born, so being here today is like winning the lottery. We just don't respect that, in his opinion. He shares so much more knowledge and wisdom that is worth listening to, pondering and taking it in for your own growth in understanding beyond your years.

Marc's present work is with elders in preparation of transition, easing their concerns with conversations of a higher order, a self-awareness program for the geriatrically gifted that makes a real difference in how elders handle end of life scenarios. Death isn't difficult, it's living that is the challenge.

One World in a New World with Nicolas Perrin - Author, Co-Founder, Inspirational Speaker

As usual we explore the beginnings of the inner awareness that came to Nicolas in his late teens, consistent with many, in exploring his sexuality and considering his options. He shares that a significant challenge was whether to live a lie and remain around family and friends or allow himself to be true to him and explore.

Does he risk everything he has to go on a journey of self-exploration? He had to accept the possibility that his family could say, 'See ya later, bye.' Many folks wouldn't necessarily share openly about seeing a medium, let alone that she could 'channel' many different beings. Not everyone is comfortable with admitting that kind of ability exists, let alone have the intellectual humility to accept it. She asked him a simple question, "What do you think unconditional love is?"

He faced the awareness of his life had been in conditional love. He explains a series of events in his life that you might relate to, though you'd have to listen to find out. hint.. hint... He talks about losing his mother to cancer and their healing process.

Nicolas goes no the elucidate on some ancient teachings he discovered on his journey, though he didn't realize it at the time. He seemed to be going through a natural process of both self-realization and self-actualization as he was exploring the depths of being human and spiritual. His world view changed dramatically.

Asked about how he was able to share his world view perspective to assist others, he mentions first he felt like he had to go beyond his five senses. How did he do that? He explains inside, please do come in and follow the conversation as we meander in the mind flow of awareness and observations of ourselves and others.

While working for JP Morgan, Nicolas became a supervisor of a diverse group and was the youngest of them all. One day the lead trainer, one of his superiors, began to share her knowledge of other resources. She had asked him if he'd ever had his numerology chart done. He thought it odd, though many corporate trainers are much deeper explorers of self than many realize, simply because they are curious about who they are in relationship to others.

Listen in to some quite interesting processes as Nicolas describes the practical and pragmatic applications of the things he's learned and now applies in his professional work and life. You'll enjoy the conversation for sure.

One World in a New World with Blaine Oelkers - Chief Results Officer

Blaine opens with a comment about 'dawning comprehension' as the awareness of his initial dive into the quest for understanding of self. He mentions a specific helper in the form of Earl Nightingale reading Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich that came across his path in the early 1980s.

There's no waiting for nuggets as Blaine offers a tasty tidbit right up, "What you think about you bring about." He says it's like the Law of Attraction with action. What he realized from practicing the methodology in the book was that he could take his thoughts and crystalize them into a solid reality.

What he found out was that the circumstances he found himself in didn't matter. It was how he reacted to them that did. That's a common understanding today. To bring it into more focus, he found an original copy of the book and read the words, "What do you want most?" He'd read his copy over a dozen time and it did not have that section.

He wanted to create a million dollar business and gave himself plenty of time to do so. The result was he did it in a fraction of the time. He speaks to when things show up that really feed your mind and your heart, you've got to jump on it and ride.

We move into exploring the mind a bit more, in respect of the brain's activity, and that you can learn how to let your mind help you find stuff. It's like a radio station and if you tune into the stuff that you want in your life, it's going to appear. It's where we put the focus of attention, intention and interaction.

Zen shares a moment of reflection for him, mentioning his spiritual awakening as a teen and the marching orders he received of helping to facilitate a new world order of harmony among people and planet. He reveals it took 47 years of prep work, then a conversation with a previous guest drew him into the Executive Director position for the Live and Let Live Global Peace Movement.

The same process that Blaine speaks about being involved in his life's preparation for the fulfillment of destiny for him. He mentions the gap between stimulus and response as varying for individuals and yet the practice will provide results, leading by example and working in self first. He calls his morning routine of mental exercises a 'mind shower' and uses an app called 'Head Space' for it.

Zen asks, "What do you do for people that feel their life is a shit storm?" You'll love his explanation and many other tasty tidbits from a guy that walks the talk on a personal, self-actualized level by creating the life he wanted which gave him the opportunity to work from home and raise a family, not missing out on any opportunities for family time. One World in a New World with Doug Bruhnke - Founder & CEO, Global Chamber May 27, 2022
    Show notes

One World in a New World with Doug Bruhnke - Founder & CEO, Global Chamber serving 195 countries and 535 metro areas to date. As we face sanctions and shenanigans, this is an episode worth your time and attention.

Asked about early inner knowings, Doug admits the calling to do international business seemed to be in his blood. One of his early realizations going into college was the awareness that he needed to be part of making the world a better place.

We dive deep into the world scene, changes and potential outcomes from the perspective of the world actually getting better, even with the bumps in the road. He speaks to the awareness that most of the inability to see beyond the veils of information and narratives, enlightenment comes from dealing with other people through trade.

What does a sustainable trade model look like? Doug's explanation is exquisite. He draws from his experience from around the world and doing business through trade and building relationships, citing extraordinary differences in cultural behavior we don't realize. Cultures are different. By understanding cultures and people, trade brings and ability to bridge them in peace. Imagine that... peace.

Doug speaks to the sense of doing business and managing trade being a natural evolution of personal development and learning how to be better humans. Zen mentions Live and Let Live Global Peace Movement as focusing on being better humans first, then doing away with aggression through law and order.

Doug does open up and share his inner experience and it's worth the wait. He shares making his first international trip working for the DuPont Company and going to the Hyundai plant in Korea. He reaffirms that we all need something to believe in to ground us, and if it works it's all good. What questions are best to ask in developing trade relationships? What questions do you think are best? What kind of process is best? What's evolving for you? Listen in to Doug's answers. The crux is around problem-solving and refining what we're good at doing.

Doug shares a story of how his work with the Global Chamber brought business owners together from Nepal and Dubai to create trade relationships. The members of the local chapters helped a representative from the company in Nepal with business owners in Dubai, and they acquired two contracts as a result. How do we flip the notion of needing to be afraid of each other, from the pandemic, to restore optimism and bring people back together more balanced and sustainable? We discuss the possibilities and those who exhibit the trending already.

Doug shares a challenge that had an interesting twist between an Argentine company and a US company that had communication issues which were resolved through the Chamber, and it wasn't pretty for some that weren't attentive.

One World in a New World with Char Murphy Esq. - Author, Cancer Survivor, Speaker

Deemed the 'Best Lawyer in Central Arkansas,' Char's choice of firm name - Murphy's Law - certainly gave a new spin on an old saying. Her activity was the opposite, moved by the connection she developed with worlds beyond common, such as working with angels.

You're probably asking, "Working with angels? What does that mean?" We often limit our experiences based on our belief systems or the essential programming we've had in life from relative sources. It almost seems oxymoronic that a lawyer would have experience with other worlds. We expect them to be 'practical and pragmatic' in more basic terms.

We dive into the process Char went through as the ability unfolded for her, which included what could have been an extremely traumatic event. How she handled it, with help, is perhaps more commonplace than we might consider. She speaks to the willingness to be vulnerable and open to the possibilities of a greater reality, after the success of her law practice.

How do we raise the bar for our own experience? Are we willing to do so? Can we be fearless and vulnerable, allowing the 'next phase' of our life experience to evolve naturally? We've had a collective door open with the pandemic and our ascension from it. What is in store for you as a result?

Char's experience with angels not only had an inner dynamic, it had physical evidence in photographs that were taken that showed images of what she felt was happening - the knowing of the presence. It began with faith and proceeded to knowing as she understood her entrance into a different experience as she went through her trials and tribulations with cancer.

Discovering the 'heart opening' and her realization that her cancer also brought about a connection to her heart, presenting an awareness of transcending the dis-ease she'd experienced in her heart, having been broken by previous experience. The revelation of her own process was quite special to share and her willingness to discuss it honored our deep dive.

As we move through the rest of the conversation she shares the knowledge and understanding of personal growth and development that comes with the opening to inner experience and embracing the process. You'll find many tasty tidbits of indications and understanding that will help you develop and/or validate your own experience further.

Do you hear voices? Do you ask yourself if they are real? Are you intimidated by them? Have you explored them? Do you argue with yourself? Do you question the source?

You'll find our conversation impactful, insightful and transformative.

One World in a New World with Carrie Leaf - Author, Holistic Mindset Coach

You'll really want to watch this entire conversation. The amazing bridge between generations and the communication flow is nothing shore of superb. It's proof that when we seek ways to come together and share, there are no age gaps. It will be well worth your time. Please do subscribe, too.

Carrie is a bright and lucid thinker, self-aware and very conversant about the observations of self. She begins by sharing her understanding of boundaries and why they are so important in receiving what one wants and deserves in life and relationships. Of course the journey wasn't that easy, knowing the hazards and still engaging them.

Learning to inquire and develop emotional maturity allowed her to move into a new location and also have a fresh look at patterns that she now had the opportunity to observe and make better choices. Sometimes it takes decades to come to that awareness.

Carrie has some great insights she shares from just being present and observant with the process of personal growth and self-awareness; the trial and tribulations we all experience of learning the dance with self. Progress comes when the personal compassion becomes present.

We dive into the nature of relationships being triggers for self-awareness and learning how to navigate the ocean of emotion with a better compass when the self-deprecation patterns subside. We discuss the little things that make a difference and the each person does things differently.

We all do what works for us in the moment, and it matters more how we handle the challenges than the challenges themselves. What she noticed in coming out of the pandemic is the nature of folks wanting to slow down, be more responsive and less frantic in their lives.

As we move into a interlude on holistic perspective, Carrie shares that she thinks for most people the mind/body connection is pretty easy to get, though when spirit, let alone planet, is involved it begins to get really nebulous for most. All the questions revolving around the inner connection happens in the alone time, even during struggles specifically.

What happens, as we both recognize and share, is that over time these growth patterns become more visible or perceivable as to when the process offers a challenge to overcome. The result is there is a willingness to lean in with anticipation of the outcome and growth, even though the experience may not be so pleasant. Zen mentions his favorite process phrase of it becoming 'excruciatingly fun.'

The conversation deepens in talking about the recognition of growth patterns and the variety of notions that come along with it. She shares that learning how to write our own story is imperative.

Please do listen in for more of your own insights as we share more common circumstances and realizations that help us all to recognize and ascend from our challenges together.
