    Arun did his Masters in Chemical Engineering at MIT, after which he worked in various technical roles at Brookhaven National Labs and DuPont. He then pursued an MBA from University of Michigan's Ross School and joined Intel Corporation in their Operations Finance group, first as an Analyst and rose to become a Controller. He then spent 5 years as Director in Intel's Mergers & Acquisitions group. For the last 16 years, Arun has been in Intel's Venture Capital group, where he is now a Managing Director. Intel Capital is one of the largest technology-focused venture capital funds, and Arun's role is to identify investments in leading edge technology startups and help those startups with their strategy and growth plans. Arun serves as a Board Director in several startups.

    Kanna was an attorney in private practice for almost 15 years working in small business start-ups, contract negotiations, international law, estate planning and family law. Simultaneously for nearly seven years, Kanna served as Program Director and Instructor for the Paralegal Studies Program at Sanford-Brown. In 2009, she started in public service working for the US Air Force as a contract specialist and then as a contracting officer responsible for negotiating development and production contracts for major satellites, radars, and defense plane systems. Recently, she helped to form a small team of multifunctional experts from Program Management, Contracting, Logistics, Science/Engineering and Attorneys who are tasked with assisting the Air Force in handling Intellectual Property issues in a much smarter way that will allow for innovation, speed and cost savings.

    Our Guest: Dr N Krishnan Dr. N. Krishnan completed his under graduation in medicine at Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He did his Masters in Ophthalmology at J J M Medical College, Davangare, Karnataka. Krishnan did his fellowship in Glaucoma and became a consultant in Glaucoma service. He has had many national and international paper presentations and scientific publications to his credit which added more feathers to his cap. Dr. Krishnan keen on serving the underprivileged, started Frontline Eye Hospital at Alwarpet, and simultaneously two satellite centres at Ambattur and Karaikudi in 1994 beginning his mission to save the vision of millions of people. Krishnan’s contributions in Ophthalmology have saved several lives through his monthly free eye camps, free medical and surgical camps in rural and tribal areas, vision screening which covered more than a lakh of school children, eye camps for special children.

He served as Chief resident in the same program and did his fellowship in William Beaumont Oakland University School of Medicine, Royal Oak, Michigan. He has authored gastroenterology related research studies in peer reviewed journals. He lives with his wife Priya and 2 year old son Arjun in Sacramento, CA.

After taking all her USMLE exams in Sacramento, she completed her residency training in Pediatrics in 2018 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently, she has almost completed the first year of a 3-year fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children’s Hospital of Phildalphia (CHOP). She is married and lives in Philadelphia, PA.

She is a Celebrity Chef, who has hosted over 300 cookery/food and travel shows in Sun, Raj, Puthuyugam and Puthiyathalaimurai channels. Her cookbook "Ulaga Unavugal Ulnattu Rusiyil", received the best cookbook by The International Tamil University, USA. She has introduced cooking to over 7000 kids and her book "I cook" is extremely popular among them.

    Dr. Thenappan received his medical training from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medial University, India. He then completed his residency training in Internal Medicine in 2005 at St. Francis Hospital with University of Illinois, Evanston, IL. Following this, he worked as a research fellow in the Center for Pulmonary Hypertension at the University of Chicago. Subsequently, he completed his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine in 2012 and fellowship training in Advanced Heart failure and Transplant Cardiology in 2013 at the University of Chicago. Currently, he is working as an associate professor of Cardiology at University of Minneapolis .

Our guest for this episode has over 30 years of experience practicing psychiatry and helping patients with their mental health.

    Our Guest: Dr Ram Lakshmanan
    Dr Lakshmanan completed his medicine degree in India. After a 2-year training stint in the UK, he moved to Chicago where he completed his psychiatry residency. He then started his private practice in Beaumont, TX in 1990, where he continues to practice today, for now over 28 years. Dr Lakshmanan is board-certified in general psychiatry and addiction-psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He practices out-patient psychiatry with a specialty on treating patients with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar and alcohol abuse. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He lives in Beaumont, TX with this wife Sushila and has two grown children.

    Our Guest: Dr Karthik Mani Dr. Karthik Mani is an occupational therapist, freelance researcher, and writer. He is an expert in Office Computer Ergonomics. He obtained his bachelors (OT) and master’s (Psychology) degrees in India and graduated with his doctorate in occupational therapy from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA. He is a published author of three books and several articles on occupational therapy. He has recently published a book chapter on Office Computer Ergonomics. Karthik Mani was born and grew up in Chennai. He is currently working as an Assistant Director of External and Regulatory Affairs at the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). He is a native of Panayapatti and belongs to Mathur temple. He lives with his wife Nathiya and daughter Yazhini in Gaithersburg, MD.
