Welcome to Episode 151 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help you achieve your goals and desires. Whether you found us from Forbes, Inc Magazine, CEO Magazine, CIO, New Theory, or elsewhere, we're thrilled you are listening. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Since the start of his own real estate empire in 2003, Matt has mastered the most effective and creative real estate strategies for producing multiple streams of income. Over 6 million downloads of his podcasts worldwide—Epic Real Estate Investing, Do Over, and Turnkey Real Estate Investing, among others—have established him as the go-to guy for "no B.S." education and systems for real estate investing success.

Having originally escaped the rate race with no cash, no credit, and a starting salary of $7 an hour bagging groceries, Matt has developed a keen understanding of the journey to establishing Epic wealth and independence.

Matt has captured most of his 14 years of experience in his books Do Over and Epic Freedom. His soon-to-be-released titles in 2017 and 2018, No Agent Needed and Epic Wealth, will complete the appendix of his investing knowledge. Matt plans to secure his son's future by passing down these volumes, and he encourages other parents to do the same.

Matt's mission is to help unfulfilled people broaden their horizons with faster, easier routes to financial independence—many of which they are completely unaware of.

However, Jason's world was shaken to the core when his daughter was diagnosed with leukemia in 2016. Rather than get angry and bitter, Jason and his remarkable wife Ashley dedicated themselves to the fight — armed with relentless positivity and zeal. Logan has always loved competing and being active. In high school he wasn't that good of an athlete until his senior year when something clicked and then he was actually pretty good in track and field! He basically graduated then left for Air Force basic. After that was done he went on to train to become a firefighter he as then stationed at Beale Air Force base in California and what they don't tell you about that base if you have never been to California is that the entire state is not sunshine and beaches which he soon found out.

California is where he was introduced to Crossfit and it brutalized him needless to say he loved it. after almost 3 years in he went out with my buddies from the Fire department to celebrate his 21st birthday. No one knows exactly what happened but long story short is that some how he ended up on the train tracks where he was hit by a train. He ended up losing both feet but he is not one to feel sorry for himself he knows that this could have probably been prevented but everyone has their path for better or worse. After the 2nd day of surgeries he was given a bar to help me pull myself up out of bed which he ended up using for pull ups and doing ab workouts in my bed. within 2 weeks, he was released in a wheelchair. He was back in the gym the same day getting back to the grind knowing that if he just sat around he would probably mope and never get better. After 3 months of working out in my wheelchair he competed in the Crossfit Open WheelWOD version and placed 6th which made me realize he had what it takes to compete with some of the best adaptive athlete!

He has lost everything that ever mattered to him due to his addiction to more. He has been addicted to alcohol, drugs, sex, money, power, fitness, the list goes on. By surrendering to his addiction, slowly but surely he began to find himself living a life second to none. A life he would not trade with anyone else. He spent a month in a detox facility followed by six months in a recovery program and spent every waking minute learning about himself through writing. Lots of writing. So much so that he wrote a book in a library over the course of my stay at the recovery home.
