A Charlotte, North Carolina native, Mohamed was the second round pick for the Cleveland Browns in the 2009 NFL draft where he recorded two 100-yard receiving games his rookie year, the first Browns rookie to have two or more such games in a season since Kevin Johnson in 1999.

Before joining the NFL, Mohamed earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology taking only 3.5 years from the University of Georgia where he was named the 2008 team captain, selected as a first-team All-Southeastern Conference and Academic All-SEC member, and received the team's Leon Farmer Award for his dedication to the strength and conditioning program and academics.

Mohamed attended Independence High School helping his team win 77 consecutive games and capture four consecutive North Carolina state 4A championships while setting the North Carolina state prep records for career receiving yards (4,851) in a season (2004), touchdown catches in a career (76), and touchdown catches in a season (32 as a senior).

In Spring 2017, while riding ATVs with friends Mohamed, was involved in an accident that resulted in the amputation of four fingers, leaving his thumb intact. Since retiring from the NFL, Mohamed has worked at Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor and is currently a speaker and advocate for fitness, athletes in business, and amputee causes.

Mohamed has been a student at the Harvard Business School, completing their Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program and their Crossover into Business program, both led by Anita Elberse.

Ashley has been on a multi-year mission to feel better, ever since she had her son more than ten years ago. After surviving a Category 4 hurricane that toppled a huge oak onto and into her house—with her in it—then a month later going through 13 hours of natural labor before having an emergency c-section, she was raw, depleted, fearful, and enormously sleep-deprived. She was a list-making perfectionist dropped into a world where nothing was ever crossed off the list and nothing was even close to perfect. And the only way out was through. she functioned, but for the first two years she just trudged ahead, trying to be a perfect mother and having to settle for good enough. She was so scared of screwing up that she was only occasionally able to enjoy being a mom.

Then slowly, like sun peeking through clouds after a heavy rain, she began to see glimpses of myself. As her son gained independence and she gained bits of free time—such joy to be able to read again!— She came blinking into the sunshine. she is a positive person and was tired of being unhappy. She wanted to not only regain who she was pre-parenthood, but also to go beyond that to a place where she actually enjoy my life most of the time. (Imagine!) She adore vacations, but every day can't be spent at the beach (unfortunately).

So she began a quest for joy. She has read hundreds of books and taken quite a few courses, and she has been on a slow but steady ascent. Martha Beck's books really spoke to me; her complete honesty, clarity, and empathy felt like a bear hug. And the magic! Real magic!

Welcome to Episode 152 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help you achieve your goals and desires. Whether you found us from Forbes, Inc Magazine, CEO Magazine, CIO, New Theory, or elsewhere, we're thrilled you are listening. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

By traditional methods of success, Whitney had achieved it all: an Ivy League Education, Masters Degree, and a prestigious title on Wall Street, but then why on the inside did she feel like she was dying?

After a 15 year career on Wall Street Whitney took a leap of faith that would change her life forever, packing up her bags and moving to Colombia. After years of neglect in the corporate rat race, Whitney began the slow process of healing her mind, body and soul. She began to dance to the rhythm of her soul, she left the concrete jungle to indulge in the beauty of the real one. She began to feel a joy she didn't know was possible.

And then one day her life changed forever. Whitney was diagnosed with breast cancer at the ripe age of 39. It was during the darkest moments of her battle that a tiny fire was lit, a fire that in time would become a raging inferno, a desire to help others create lives they love. Whitney used to hate her scars but now they fill her with pride, battle wounds of a Warrior Girl who in her darkness found her light, and in her weakness, her strength.

And thus Warrior Girl Coaching was born, a process that was created using the exact tools that Whitney used to transform her life.
