Show notes
On this Halloween-tastic episode of the Nightmare on Film Street Horror Movie Podcast, we're galloping back in time to the Disney's classic, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Saddle up with your spooktacular hosts, Kimmi and Jon, as they trot alongside the lanky schoolteacher and his eerie encounters in the quaint town of Sleepy Hollow, based on the timeless classic by Washington Irving.
In this animated short, we follow the lanky and superstitious schoolteacher Ichabod Crane as he vies for the heart of the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel, all while trying to avoid the brutish Brom Bones. But as the leaves turn and the air chills, Ichabod finds himself face to faceless head with the legendary Headless Horseman. Kimmi & Jon will guide you through the eerie streets of Sleepy Hollow with their trademark candid humor, dissecting the spooky and the silly of this Halloween classic. Will Ichabod outsmart the headless haunt, or will he lose his head in the process?
So, if you’re ready for a trip down memory lane filled with laughs, scares, and a bit of headless horseplay, then this is the episode for you. Join Kimmi & Jon as they explore the hollows of Halloween and the legend that still sends shivers down our spines. It’s going to be a ghoulishly good time, and you won’t want to miss it!
