Struggling to find time to get alone with God every morning? You aren’t the only one. We’re the Alessi sisters – Stephanie, Gaby, Richelle and Lauren – and this is the My Morning Devotional podcast. We set out to produce short daily devotionals we like to call a Daily Dose of Heaven. Now with over 4 million downloads and a worldwide community of listeners, we invite you to join us each weekday for a Bible reading, some daily devotional time, and a morning prayer to build your faith!

These morning prayer devotionals will help you feel more confident about applying Scripture to your life, and give you the boost you need to feel God’s presence throughout your day!

With Geo Valdez, join us as we review Proverbs 6:27-35. Geo references the story of Samson. This is a devotional to get you on your feet. I pray you don't give into distractions and continue to work for the calling you have set in front of you.
"Do you know that great things of the God we serve? He is a redeeming God. You see, one day he (Samson) was tied up, and his hair grew back. God as merciful as He is, allowed him to receive his strength back. At the end he was stronger than before. You see, God works everything our for our good.

Could you image all that he could have accomplished had he decided to answer with "new phone, who's this?" rather than "where you at?"

So what is that one thing that you want to avoid? Is it a relationship, an addiction, social media? What ever it is, you can overcome it.

God has called YOU because you were set apart from birth."

"I love that the verse talks about an anchor. Think about what an anchor does. it keeps the boat from floating away with the current. So remember we have an anchor of hope. His name is Jesus. Don't get swept with the current of the news. Don't feed into the fear and the anger. Just continue to go with the motions of the ocean, yet remember you are tied down. Your anchor is Jesus and his word."

He is Big, Yet He is Close Jul 06, 2020

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read the story of when Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish. Matthew 14:14-20
"But something really stood out to me when I read this today. In regard to our current situation. It says "Jesus saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, and healed their sick". We are still fighting this virus. In Miami, the numbers are increasing daily. Maybe you are from an area where the numbers have been controlled, but the virus still looms on our earth. My prayer today is that we as the body of christ continue to pray for our land. We pray for our earth and we pray for our sick. Together we need to form a crowd. Jesus has compassion for us. I know sometimes you may not think so. Maybe you have a friend in your life that always questions. "Well if God was so compassionate, why is he allowing this?"

The answer is simple. We live on earth, and viruses are nothing new. But Jesus can heal and he can use all of this for His glory. So while he uses this time to heal broken homes and families, we can come together and pray for our land. Healing will come."

"We never have to go back to our old ways of life. Ever. What Christ did on calvary 2,000 years will never be topped. There is no founding father or president or leader in this world that can ever outdo God. The freedom he paid for with his life, was a freedom from death. Not literal death, we know we will all one day pass over to heaven. But freedom from the death of sin. You are not bound to shackles on this earth. You don't have to be a slave to addiction, you don't have to be a slave to money, you don't have to be a slave to power or control, you don't have to be a slave to food! We have freedom in Him. Let us not turn to the things of this earth, but look to his mighty name."

"So what season of waiting are your currently in? Are you waiting for the love of your life? Are you waiting for your business to take off? Are you waiting for the perfect moment to serve your church? Are you waiting for Monday to start taking care of your body?

We would waste so much time if we wasted our season of waiting. God is trying to teach you a valuable lesson. He is trying to give you the tools so that you can conquer next season. So be comfortable with the waiting. Don't sit there and waste time. Be proactive. Lean on God. Learn something new, get to know someone new. Do you know what will happen if you took advantage of this season?"

The kind of authority that can look at absolutely any situation and declare healing. We can declare miracles in His name. We can declare blessings over our lives, and the people around us.
