    Show notes

On July 26, 1992, Brenda Gale Christian Lambert disappeared from her home in Bluefield, West Virginia, just hours after hosting her son's first birthday party.

Brenda was born on December 26, 1969, and was the fifth of seven children. She was described as fun, outgoing, feisty, and mischievous, with a heart of gold. She was a tomboy who loved climbing trees and playing outside, but also had a girly side and loved doing makeup and hair.

At 16, Brenda met Raymond Lambert and soon became pregnant. The couple married in 1986 and had a second child in 1991. But by 1992, their marriage had deteriorated. Raymond was having an affair with Brenda's cousin Tammy, and he had become physically violent with Brenda, choking her on multiple occasions.

At the birthday party, Tammy showed up uninvited, creating tension. After everyone left, Brenda asked Raymond if she could keep the kids overnight, but he refused. Later that night, Raymond showed up at Brenda's sister's house at 11 PM, shaking and asking if anyone had seen Brenda.

The next day, Brenda's mom found her car in the driveway and the front door locked, but Brenda was gone. She hasn't been seen since. If you have information about Brenda Lambert's disappearance, please contact the Bluefield Police Department.
