    Mindful As A Mother

Hiiiiiii. Lindsay and Paige here: two therapists and mothers with a mission to provide affordable evidence based resources to parents of adhd & autistic children. When we’re not working with children and their parents in therapy or recording for the pod, you can find us hanging out at home with our families, surviving on diet coke or coffee, and binge-watching true crime. We’re here to make the intersection between therapy and parenting relatable with education, support, and SMASHING parental stigma. Grab your favorite caffeinated beverage and buckle up for the ride.

Paige- How to Stop "Awfulizing" Oct 12, 2022

The key is to learn how to curb our own awfulizing and how to turn our kid's awfulizing into moments of resiliency. Listen for practical tips, skills, and real-life scenarios on how we can help ourselves, and our kids, move away from anxiety. Three big takeaways: Big bucket/little bucket situations and problem solving, how to handle the "what ifs", and revisiting past experiences to bridge future success.
