    Mom Guilt • X46 Jul 03, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • To debunk the 14 myths of motherhood
    • How to break the thought pattern of “traditional” mothering and the “rules” that come with it
    • How to ask, reflect, and have the hard conversations around what kind of mother you want to be

There are so many decisions to make for children and almost all of them have a whole gang behind either side of the answer ready… and if you’re in the Facebook groups, they’re usually ready to shame you for whatever you pick.

What I’m learning is that the right way for me is already inside me. My child chose me for a reason. Because the way I do things is what he needs to develop into the best version of himself.

So today we’re going to challenge the myths surrounding womanhood, mothering, and what it means to be a mother.

Our guest is Dr. Gertrude Lyons. She is a Master Life Coach and Relationship Expert with over 20 years of experience. Through her Rewriting The Mother Code initiative, which challenges the traditional notions of motherhood and womanhood, Dr. Lyons has become a national mothering revolutionary.

Healthy Boundaries for Codependent Relationships • 188 Jun 29, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • The biggest myths around setting and enforcing good boundaries.
    • What we gain by staying stuck and how to stop getting in your own way.
    • How boundaries relate to embracing your true self.

Have you ever struggled to set boundaries for yourself? Have you ever set boundaries for yourself just to find that you continuously struggle to uphold them?

Setting and upholding boundaries is a process. Sometimes the best thing we can do is to simply take space, because we don’t have enough strength to uphold the boundaries we set.

But for the people we love, taking space isn’t always the answer. To have healthy relationships it is essential for us to understand our own personal standards, where to draw the line, and how to hold that line even under pressure.

So how do we start developing this skill set?

That’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Terri Cole, licensed psychotherapist and global leading expert in female empowerment. She is also the author of Boundary Boss: The Essential Guide to Talk True, Be Seen, and (Finally) Live Free.

    Why Everybody Lies • 187 Jun 22, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • The 7 types of lies we tell and their hidden consequences
    • How our lies affect our self-worth and our self-forgiveness
    • How to start cleaning up your own personal pollution

Do you ever catch yourself lying? If you just said no, then you’re lying right now, because everybody lies.

We ALL lie. We just tend to justify it in some cases, and not in others - whether we lie to other people to make ourselves look good, or avoid telling someone something they don’t want to hear.

Or we lie to ourselves because we really hope this time will be different, even though we haven’t done enough of the inner work to know that for sure.

So the question is not whether we lie, but what the consequences of lying truly are.

That’s what we’re talking about today.

Our guest is Laurie Gerber. Laurie is one of the most engaging and effective life coaches and presenters in the country. She’s out to change the world, and she has a passion for coaching people who share that mission.

    Intimacy After Having a Baby • X45 Jun 18, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • How to rebalance when it seems like everyone is asking everything of you
    • When it’s good for sex to take a backseat and when it is a relationship roadblock
    • How to cultivate intimacy inside and outside of sex

If you have kids, you may understand just how hard it is to keep the spark alive after having them.

And that’s not to say you’re no longer attracted to your partner, but more so that just feeling attracted or feeling attractive even, often takes a backseat.

We humans can normalize anything and the more we put something off, the harder it is to reintegrate.

So how do we make sure that we prioritize sex and intimacy with our partners even when our families are taking up all the space in our heads?

That’s what we’re talking about today.

Our guest today is Allana Pratt. She’s all about helping you develop a healthy, intimate relationship with ourselves first, which naturally enhances your ideal partnerships.

    Controllable Causes of Happiness • 186 Jun 15, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • The scientific equation of happiness
    • Why chasing success creates unhappiness
    • The principle of smart energy investment

Do you believe that your happiness is under your control?

People who do believe that they’re in control of their own happiness, are actually 32% happier than people who think it’s all in the genes.

Likewise, people that are already unhappy are 5 times more likely to believe that their happiness is out of their control, compared to happy people.

This happens because our brains automatically look for evidence to support our beliefs, which can make it really difficult to jump the gap from unhappiness to happiness.

How can we start to wake up and choose happiness every single day?

That’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Robert Mack, Positive Psychology Expert, Celebrity Happiness Coach, Executive Coach, and Author.

Sugar Addiction and Your Brain • X44 Jun 11, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • How binge eating and sugar addiction are related
    • The long-term risks of sugar addiction
    • How to start physically and emotionally detoxing

    Everything is connected right?

Our bodies can be in peak physical condition, but if our minds and spirit are depleted or low, we can’t show up in our lives as our best selves.

In the same way, if our bodies are weak, we can’t think as clearly or radiate as brightly as we came to this life to do.

Each pillar of our being impacts the others either putting out or fanning our flame.

Which is why it makes sense that today we’re talking about sugar addiction. It seems like just a health issue, but it also affects our brains and our mindsets.

So today we’re going deep into the real effects of sugar.

Our guest is Michael Collins, founder of SugarAddiction.com and Quit Sugar Summit, and author of the Best Selling Book The Last Resort Sugar Detox Guide.

    You Are Always Creating • 185 Jun 08, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • The difference between your inner voice and channeling spirit…
    • How thoughts expand our universe
    • How to create from an energy that will empower our lives

Have you ever experienced something that just made life feel magical? It doesn’t have to be something huge… maybe it’s just a bunch of little things where you’re like “okay this can’t be a coincidence.”

These are the feelings that indicate to you that you are on your path. When you are open and in the receiving mode, you allow your higher being to guide you in manifesting your deepest desires.

And the way your higher being speaks to you is through all those little signs that are just too on-point to be coincidence.

But have you ever struggled to differentiate between your inner voice (which tends to draw upon fears and past experiences), and the voice of your higher being? That’s what we’re talking about today.

Our guest is Erin Werley. She has been channeling her higher self, God/Source, called “I Am”, since 2011. Her book, One Truth, One Law is the guidebook to understanding oneness, manifestation and the Universe. Erin’s life purpose is to help you shortcut your awakening process so you experience all the joy that is possible in your life, right now.

    • 3 C’s of a great dating profile
    • How to pre-screen dates to weed out those that aren’t a fit
    • How to connect to your intuition to guide you to your perfect match

Dating can be hard. And time consuming. And now with dating apps giving us more options than ever, it can be really overwhelming.

We try to rely on our intuition to guide us in spending time with the right people, but that’s where it gets even more complicated.

In love matters, it can be difficult to decode the signals from our bodies because of that spark we feel, or the chemistry you feel between you and the other person.

Well that’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Damona Hoffman, dating coach, TV personality, and psychic-medium. She is also the Dating Expert of The Drew Barrymore Show, and the new spokesperson for OkCupid.

Damona has a really unique approach of actionable and practical tips, but also guidance to using intuition for deeper insights.

    The 4 Elements of Your Personality • 184 Jun 01, 2021
    Show notes

    We will learn:

    • How the four elements relate to us and why it’s important we understand them
    • How to identify which element we’re missing and how to bring it back into balance
    • How to discern between your ego and the wise observer

You already know the four elements: earth, water, air and fire. But what you may not know is how they relate to your personality, and more importantly your pain. These four elements make up every person.

But for each of us, there’s one element that’s our weakest point. This is what our guest calls “the missing element” or the Observer which is, “the part of you that can stand outside of judgment and see yourself with a more wise and compassionate approach, much like our elders did.”

Understanding the Observer is critical to our own self-awareness. It’s what allows us to move beyond our personal drama to find our real purpose in the world, a world that needs our service now more than ever.

So now the question is, how do we find our own missing element? Well that’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Debra Silverman.

She not only has a masters degree in clinical psychology, she is also a highly acclaimed astrologer. She has developed a unique psychological-spiritual model, combining her expertise in Esoteric (soul-centered) Astrology with her extensive education in Psychology to help people who are going through major life changes

And Over the past 40 years of professional experience and private practice, she has specialized in helping thousands of individuals achieve emotional health and wisdom based on their unique personality and the four elements: water, air, earth, and fire.

    We will learn:

    • A way of being that is calm, decisive, and harmonious
    • How to stop being drunk on your own thoughts and words
    • The 3 pillars of Myung Sung

With the way our world is, it’s almost impossible not to develop layers and layers of false beliefs. Beliefs that keep us small and out of our divine power.

That’s why meditation is so helpful, because it gives us quiet time away from all the noise to find our center. The problem is, we tend to have endless excuses to stay in the chaos.

Thankfully, we can bring that same energy that we cultivate in a quiet meditation into every moment of our lives so that we live with a little more mindfulness.

But how do we do this? Well that’s what we’re talking about today.

Our guest is Dr. Jenelle Kim, Founder, and formulator for JBK Wellness Labs, and Author. She is a highly successful formulator, doctor of Chinese medicine, and Master Herbalist, and her expertise in health stems from her extensive knowledge in herbal medicine.
