Getting The Clarity of Your Goals and Preparing Your Business For The Downturns | Evan Holladay Replay Dec 11, 2020
    Show notes

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, Evan Holladay shares insights on how to level up yourself, your business, and career during this pandemic, reveals the magic trick to get the clarity of your goals in just an hour, the importance of having confidence to win every battle, how to prepare yourself and your business for possible downturns, and what is the best income stream in the future that you should pay attention to!

Evan Holladay is the founder and host of Monumental, a top-rated podcast where he interviews leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries making a massive change in the world. Also, he is the President and CEO at Holladay Ventures where they work with city leaders, impact-driven partners and communities to build multi-family affordable workforce housing deals in the Southeast US.

He is an advocate for affordable housing and was recently featured in the book CRA at Forty: Views on the Present and Future of Community Reinvestment. Currently, Evan has sourced and developed over $237 million, helping create 1300+ units of new affordable housing.

Evan’s mentorship started from his parents and during his college when he realized that he hated science and chemistry, and building housing what his passion is. That’s when he became part of a new million mixed-use development construction on the campus. He was the first one hired at the development and really learned the nuts and bolts of real estate and real estate development work. That’s where the real estate journey takes place for Evan.

Later in college, they’ve started a modular housing development company that not just builds generational wealth but also makes an impact for people that make all types of incomes. It is a company that provides affordable and workforce housing for families in need.

After college, they do their best to grow the company and find partners in the real estate world with the experience and learn the knowledge from them.

During this interview, Evan gives lots of insights on how to step up and make an impact during these hard times. For him, it is important to have clarity on your goals. Figure out where your current condition is & align it where you want to go and what your vision is.

This is the time to double down and find the opportunity that suits your passion and turn it into a business. There are massive opportunities in real estate, especially on the rental side. Therefore, do the preparation ahead of time. Roadmap your destination and get a mentor. Take that learning and put it into action. This is the best time to plant your seeds to capital, education, building relationships with your network, brokers, and investors in order to take advantage of it later.

Lastly, never forget to think of the downside of your business and mitigate the risks ahead of time. Plan for, and be prepared for the downturns!

Comeback Formula and Wealth Building Recipe to Live Your Dream Life Without Changing Your Lifestyle| Chris Harder Dec 07, 2020
    Show notes

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have a spectacular guest, Chris Harder who shares experience, insights, and tips to make your dream lifestyle, financial literacy, building the budget and money management, the timeline for unlocking real ROI and success, the formula for any kind of come back, how to level up business revenue during these COVID-19 times and much more about wealth building!

Chris Harder is an entrepreneur, executive life & career coach, philanthropist, entrepreneurial and public speaking coach, motivational speaker, investor, and host of the For The Love Of Money Podcast, a show that shares the secrets, tips, and incredible stories of how successful people have risen to the top, and what they’ve done to make this world a better place as a result of their success.

During the last recession, Chris and his wife started over again. They stripped everything not just financially but everything that comes along with it. Why did it happen? He admits they didn’t take care of their money and didn’t take it seriously. It came to the point that everything they’ve put in their house ends in Craigslist and judged by their neighbors. It was the most humiliating point of his life from an ego and financial standpoint. But it turned out to be the best point of their life as he found their runaway, and invented a new income source.

Chris believes that opportunity changes shape, therefore, he took advantage of it and recognizes where and how it is changing. Just like finding ways how to bring your business revenue to the next level during these COVID times, and not screwed like anyone else. But adapting the changes in people’s behavior and innovating.

Furthermore, patience, clarity, and making pivots in order to get the destination and outcome you’ve wanted. By living within your means and not being scared of the numbers. Figure out how much it does actually need to make to cover either today's budget or the dream budget. Don’t let social media actually lose the touch of the actual value of a dollar or a hundred or a million.

In addition, Chris emphasizes to start not giving in the dark but where people see it to start the positive chain reaction for others to be inspired with and do the same. However, it is fine to go through selfish motivation first in order to get to the unselfish motivation. You just have to enjoy the journey, enjoy the ride, get the things, create the income-producing machine, and when you finally get that calling of giving, then lean into it.

As an advocate of multiple income sources, Chris suggests building a lifestyle as though if any one of your income sources went away today, you would have not to change your lifestyle tomorrow!

    Some Questions I Ask:

    • What do you say to the person right now that might be starting their financial journey or maybe hit a rock bottom and COVID wipe them out or crashed their business or made some bad investment decisions and they’re really looking to pull themselves up? (01:21)
    • How long should somebody be thinking about living below their means and when is it time to start having freedom to spend your money where you wanted to? (08:07)
    • What is your ideology around budgeting and financial rhythm or how to enhance financial literacy around money management? (11:11)
    • What people maybe should start thinking about now that might infuse motivation, inspiration, and passion for their wealth-building journey on what can be unlocked on the other side as well? (16:21)
    • What should people think about as they start building up their wealth, accumulation of funds, and opportunity to disperse and play those things? (19:52)
    • What should people be thinking in terms of patience and the timeline for unlocking real success? (22:33)
    • What are some of the greatest areas people can focus on that will get them real ROI in the term of their wealth-building journey? (24:27)

Timothy Sykes Turned 12K into $5.6 Million And Why He Decided Being A Billionaire Is Overrated | Timothy Sykes Nov 30, 2020
    Show notes

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have a fantastic guest, Timothy who shares wisdom, insights, and knowledge about how to make a real difference, the importance of giving back, the role of education these days, stock market strategy, and the danger of earning a lot of money too quickly!

Timothy Sykes is an entrepreneur, a world traveler, philanthropist, trading teacher and influencer, millionaire trader, and co-founder of Karmagawa, a charitable organization dedicated to saving the environment, endangered species, and more.

Through the Timothy Sykes Foundation, 35 schools have been built or are in development, in over a dozen countries around the world. He’s been featured in a variety of different media outlets, including CNN, CNBC, Fox Business, Fox TV, Forbes, Larry King, Men’s Journal, and Steve Harvey.

Before Tim got into the education world, he failed in growing his hedge fund not realizing that he didn’t have the rules and risk management. He was always drunk and lost all his industry credibility. Until he found clarity and shifted his life. The opportunity came to him and started teaching people online, helping and showing everyone his trades.

But Tim doesn’t teach people to be rich but teaches that success is in their failure. He makes video lessons on every single loss and mistake, as well as wins in trading. Shares photos, videos, knowledge, and posts that really hit people. Tim became a number one trader that earns a lot of money, as well as a mentor that he wished he had in the beginning.

However, he realized that it’s not only making the biggest bank account but taking care of his passion, helping his family and himself, and helping the world, make an impact, and make a real difference. His goal is to build thousands of schools. Now, have built 70 schools so far, trying to help one emergency at a time, and help communities that are involved.

On the other side, despite this pandemic, Tim believes that this is the best time to educate yourself. It is by learning digitally and remotely. Take advantage and learn things to adapt to the new normal, and changes to do better. It’s always hard and messy in the beginning, but through sharing education in the world, nothing is impossible.

In addition, every single person must have a goal to achieve. and it's okay to change goals and adopt new things. Challenge yourself, and do what fulfills you and push yourself. Charity becomes his new challenge after achieving all the material things he has ever wanted. This year, Tim donated all his trading profits to charity.

But then warns that if you’re trying to get as much money as you can with nothing else, you might succeed but you will not be happy. It is using our humanity to our advantage rather than trying to do everything on your own and keeping other people out of your life. It is education, having heart, and really embracing and not ignoring our community!

    Some Questions I Ask:

    • When did you start investing in the stock market? (00:12)
    • Where did it all start for you? (00:29)

    • Is work ethic something that people can cultivate or something that you feel like is in your DNA? (34:25)

    • Are you more of a buffet guy based on your skillset or do you have some diversification outside of the stock market in your whole wealth portfolio? (38:20)
    • What is your definition of success? When you get to your death bed, what do you hope you look to see in that rear view mirror? (41:28)

Capitalize On The Best Investment Opportunities You May Ever See In Your Lifetime | Nathan McDonald Nov 23, 2020
    Show notes

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have an impressive guest Nathan McDonald who shares his knowledge and insights about Angel investing, Due Diligence Process in real estate, collaboration based-investing, good returns, and positive cash flow during this economic crisis!

Nathan McDonald is an entrepreneur, investor, CEO of Keiretsu Capital, and Chairman of Keiretsu Forum in Northwest Region. Keiretsu Capital is the exclusive worldwide fund partner of Keiretsu Forum and manages angel co-investment, blockchain, and real estate funds for its investors and supporting startup companies. They are ranked as the most active venture investors in the USA and growing to be 55 chapters globally.

Under Nathan’s leadership, Keiretsu Capital has launched four co-investment funds and now manages over $30 million from over 180 Keiretsu investors and over 160 portfolio company investments. With his skills, he quickly builds the Keiretsu Forum in the Northwest region into the fastest growing angel investment group in the nation, adding over 850 investor members and facilitating over $300 million in funding for over 400 companies.

Nathan believes that companies who have not embraced technologies during this financial crisis will be left behind as the market accelerates quickly. Likewise, the best thing investors can do is invest. Anyone can do as long as you believe in the business you’d liked to get into and be willing to take the time out there.

Get your money moving, get into the economy and the community by supporting businesses that are able to generate returns. For Nathan, during these uncertain times, recession, and downturn, is where the best companies in the world are created. It is just finding opportunities in the middle of chaos. Particularly in real estate businesses where there’s plenty of opportunity on the liquidity side.
