Episode 101 -- Chicago PD 2x15 "What Do You Do" Apr 19, 2019

Show notes

While the shows are still on hiatus, we decided to go back into the vault and discuss one of our all time favorite episodes, Chicago PD 2x15, titled "What Do You Do" AKA the warehouse episode. This episode is iconic in so many ways, from the Burzek locker room scene to Linstead talking about retiring in Wisconsin to the taser re-certification B-storyline, and we certainly discuss all of that and more! We also discuss the latest One Chicago news including our thoughts on them potentially getting Brett and Casey together, Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer's contracts being renewed!

Is Robin supposed to be Connor's person? Did Ava set Connor up? Was Foster in the right with what she said to Severide? Are we supposed to believe Price is a good guy? We discuss all of this and more!

Episode 98 -- Chicago Fire 5x16 Mar 22, 2019

Show notes

While Bryna may have initially forgotten that this episode existed, we had a blast strolling down memory lane and reminiscing on that time 51 was held hostage in their own firehouse. We talked about that, whether or not Severide took a ninja elective at the academy, who else from 51 has been shot besides Casey, why nobody else seemed to notice Stella getting knocked unconscious and so much more!

This episode topic was suggested to us by our listener, Angela! Send us your suggestions for a future episode!

Episode 97 -- Favorite Comic Storylines of All-Time on Chicago Fire Mar 18, 2019

Show notes

We didn't really know what topic we wanted to talk about this week considering all three shows were still on hiatus. So Gina came up with the idea to let Derek Haas, co-creator of Chicago Fire and developer of Chicago PD and Chicago Med, have free reign over our topic this week. His choice: favorite comic storylines of all-time on Chicago Fire.

We go way back in the vault and discuss some comedy storylines we haven't thought about, let alone talked about, in a long time. We also discuss all our listeners' favorites as well Derek's favorites. We even discuss whether or not Chicago PD is more serious due to the nature of the show and throw in some of their best comic storylines from back in the day.

Episode 96 -- 4x16/7x16/6x16 Mar 04, 2019

Show notes

Did you hear? ALL THREE SHOWS HAVE BEEN RENEWED! We talk about that exciting news plus what went down on this week's episodes. What happens now between April and Ethan? Did we love or hate Natalie and Phillip? Is Grissom good now? Where is the Price storyline going on PD? Would PD consider ending this season with two love triangles? All of that and more in episode 96!

We also talk about who from One Chicago curses the most, our thoughts on where the Antonio situation currently stands and whether or not Jay would make a great dad!

The women of One Chicago take over this week, but it doesn't stop everything going awry. Show notes

Man, our feelings about One Chicago were all over the place this week. Everyone on Med frustrated us this week, but when do they not? Fire, at times, was heavy but overall made us smile. PD was heavy and hit on a topic in racial profiling that nobody wants to admit is unfortunately part of our country. We talk about it all.
