Episode 113 -- Chicago PD 4x14 + Nick Wechsler Interview Aug 23, 2019

Show notes

This week, we’re discussing Chicago PD 4x14 “Seven Indictments”. It’s one hell of a con case that features a web of lies, twists, and turns and TBH, at times we’re not sure if we really understand it. But we break it down the best we can. We also learn a little bit more about Rixton’s backstory and discuss that as well.

We also talk to Nick Wechsler, the man who portrayed Kenny Rixton. Nick was kind enough to give us over an hour of his time and we talked about many different things including how he got into acting originally, how much he loved his time on Chicago PD, what he learned from technical advisor Brian Luce that he then took with him to Shades of Blue.

Episode 112 - Chicago Med 2x11 "Graveyard Shift" Aug 16, 2019

Show notes

Confession time: neither one of us has ever seen the infamous Chicago Med episode where Connor operates on a panda. So we decided to remedy that this week in our trip down memory lane. We talk about that storyline and why a panda ended up at Med in the first place. We also discuss Will's leadership skills being fully on display, Latham's backstory, our hatred of Tate and much more.

Episode 111 — Chicago Fire 1x22 “Leaders Lead” Aug 09, 2019

Show notes

Our listener Brett suggested we tackle the Season 1 arc with Severide and the fired paramedic that accused him of sexual assault, especially in light of the #MeToo movement. Then, we realized it also overlapped with Hallie’s death, which we’ve never really talked about on the pod, and knew we had to cover it.

We also discuss the latest One Chicago news and give you an update on what we’ve been watching this summer, including Veronica Mars, The Boys, The Bachelorette and more!

Show notes

Something’s brewing between Natalie and Jeff, Will can’t seem to get anyone to give him medical malpractice insurance, Latham gets angry with Connor right off the bat, Ethan is the new chief resident - we talk about all of that and more!
