Show notes
Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and is joined by Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com.
The Pittsburgh Steelers began their search for Mike Tomlin's successor. Among the early candidates are Chris Shula, Jesse Minter, Brian Flores, Anthony Weaver, and Nate Scheelhaase. Christopher Carter and Nick Farabaugh discuss the early candidates, their strengths and weaknesses, and who might be the best fit for the future. Also, would a coach with a defensive or offensive background be better for the Steelers? Or are coaches who prioritize leadership over scheme the better option? Also, what did Art Rooney II say about Mike Tomlin's potential to return to coaching? And why could that be bad news for the Steelers' front office if they hoped to trade Tomlin?
