Show notes
Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have serious needs at wide receiver, so Christopher Cartere gives his first mock draft of the season with Omar Khan trading up for a big playmaker. Chris goes over why he thinks this could be a year the Steelers get aggressive for a trade-up scenario, and why USC WR Makai Lemon could be a prime target. Chris also has the Steelers taking Notre Dame WR Malachi Fields, as well as other Senior Bowl standouts like TCU safety Bud Clark, Iowa guard Beau Stephens and others. Also, Chris looks harder at the NFL Draft class' receivers, like USC's Ja'Kobi Lane, Texas A&M's KC Concepcion, Ohio State's Carnell Tate, Georgia State's Ted Hurts and Indiana's Omar Cooper. Could this be a special receiver class? Finally, what's the updates on Mike McCarthy's coaching staff hires? And why isn't Gerald Alexander part of the coaching staff anymore?
