    Show notes

The Nets are in every win-now mode for basically game down the home stretch, and they put in one of their best performances of the season on Monday evening. Facing off against a very tough Utah Jazz team with Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and others, Brooklyn played fantastically. Kevin Durant was able to get everywhere he wanted on the court and seemed to put up 37 points with relative ease against one of the better defenses in the NBA.

They also got key games from Bruce Brown and Nic Claxton, both of whom are peaking at the right time for this team. It was a full team win even though Brooklyn is still without key pieces. The Locked on Nets guys break it all down on a packed podcast.

After Kevin Durant, who has been the Nets' second-most important player this season? Mar 18, 2022
    Show notes

Who has been the Net's second-best player over the course of the season? It’s an interesting question to consider seeing how this season has gone for Brooklyn. Of course, Kevin Durant is the MVP, that much isn’t in dispute. But the runner-up requires some thinking. Is it Patty Mills because he’s played the most? Is it Kyrie Irving because his recent impact has been as good as any player in basketball? Or is it James Harden who had a terrible exit but was critical for the team earlier in the season? Maybe it’s someone else altogether. The Locked on Nets guys take a look at this question and break down the cases for and against a number of players.

Nets crush the 76ers! Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and company look like contenders Mar 11, 2022
    Show notes

What a game from the Nets! On national television with all of the storylines dovetailing into one game, Brooklyn went out and completely dismantled the 76ers. On the back of fantastic performances from Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Nets really got a collective team effort in this one, doing nearly everything right on both ends of the court.

They kept the Philly defense scrambling for most of the game. And on the defensive end, they frustrated Joel Embiid, and especially James Harden who really struggled. This was a complete victory for a Nets team that really needed to put a stamp on the game.

    Show notes

The Nets and 76ers will battle on Thursday in what has to be one of the most intriguing and exciting regular-season games in years. There are almost too many subplots to list starting with the fact that this will be James Harden’s first game against Brooklyn since the trade deadline. Then you have the Nets fighting to stay in the playoff race, the words Kevin Durant and Joel Embiid had earlier in the season and Ben Simmons sitting on the bench.

Plus you have Kyrie Irving coming off a 50-point game and the whole thing is on national television as the only game in the time slot. This is everything you could want, and more, from an NBA game. The Locked on Nets guys are breaking it all down.
