Is Jim Harbaugh Headed to the NFL After CFP Win? | Dan Quinn's Chargers Coaching Credentials Jan 02, 2024

Show notes

Jim Harbaugh would be a home run hire for the Chargers, but will he head to the NFL regardless of what happens in the National Championship Game? If he does decide to stay at Michigan, Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is an option that could intrigue Los Angeles. Dan and David breakdown the biggest Chargers storylines and overreactions including it it's too soon to sign Rashawn Slater to an extension. Slater has been awesome but the bigger question for the team going forward, is if Corey Linsley will be back in the lineup in 2024. For 2023, the best thing that can happen for the Chargers is losing their last game but that could be in jeopardy with the Chiefs unlikely to play Patrick Mahomes and their other starters.

Mission Accomplished: Chargers Get One Step Closer to Premium Draft Pick in Loss to Broncos Jan 01, 2024

Show notes

The Chargers lost the battle, but won the war on Sunday as the loss to the Broncos helped the team’s 2024 draft position. Los Angeles fought hard under Giff Smith but this team showed they are one of the worst in the league without Justin Herbert. Dan and David analyze the Chargers 16-9 loss to the Broncos, and discuss if Easton Stick has shown that he isn’t ready to be this team’s long-term backup. Austin Ekeler brutal season continued as well with a bad fumble, while the team was left still waiting on Quentin Johnston’s breakout game. One person that has exceeded all expectations is Khalil Mack who has continued to give his all and earned his career best 16th sack.

Top 5 MVP Candidates, Brock Purdy's to lose? NFL Top 5 and bottom 5 Teams Dec 25, 2023

Show notes

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is getting a lot of NFL MVP love, but where does he fall on Mike Renner’s top-5 MVP candidates list? Baltimore Ravens passer Lamar Jackson and Dallas Cowboys signal caller Dak Prescott have had phenomenal seasons deserving of high rankings and a potential top spot.

It’s a new era in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs no longer wearing the crown as best team in the league so who now sits atop with the Niners, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills staking their claim. But it’s about naughty and nice during the holiday season. Just like there are five best teams, there are the five worst. Between the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots, the bottom spot goes to a team that has years of rebuilding ahead of an already bad situation.
