Hi there! I am Meliza.
I am a wife and mum of two awesome kids. Life is full here in Preston, UK. When I am not running the household or playing taxi, I am writing books, developing courses, and coaching people – helping them to walk in freedom; in their true identity and purpose.
I love what I do and I enjoy my life – but this was not always how I would tell my story.
My story started in an ideal setting. I was born and raised in beautiful South Africa. The first-born daughter of a pastor. My parents loved me dearly and provided a great life for me and my sister. But like any story, there are often twists and turns that we don’t anticipate. Enter: an enemy that comes to kill, steal and destroy.
Left in the pit of despair with little hope of freedom, empty from pouring myself out for everyone, and tired from trying to fix my own self-destructive behaviours, I was ready to give up on God. It felt like He didn’t see or care about me. It felt like my desperate cries for freedom fell on deaf ears.
But one day, God showed up on the big screen. At the cinema on the docks in Preston, He showed me that, He not only saw my suffering, but He cared deeply about my heart. It was time to move out of the pit of despair and into the palace where I belonged – seated in heavenly places with the Father who loves me.

Lois A. Ivory was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and grew up as the eldest of 7 siblings in a two-parent household on the westside of Detroit, attending schools in the area before going on to Wayne Community College. She is a certified Esthetician, a p rofessional makeup artist for the living and deceased, a Permanent Makeup Artist, a Notary Public and Wedding Officiant and currently the CEO of Ashes to Beauty Finding Your Inner Self LLC.
Lois has also been a regular writer for many years and has two makeup magazines - Ashes 2 Beauty Show Me What You Slayy and Ashes 2 Beauty: Finding Your Inner Self 2018 Christmas Edition. She previously worked in collaboration with her son on publishing a book, Different Shades Of Beauty, which they created for children.
Her hopes for the future include empowering and inspiring all women of color and help them heal from past trauma and become more aware of their strengths, standards, and boundaries.

Hello, I'm Debbie...
For most of my life, my set of beliefs was fairly consistent with my upbringing and life experience. Certainly, all of us are shaped by the people, places, and circumstances of our lives. I was not one to ever question those beliefs. I just assumed they were correct and to be quite honest, I never really gave it any thought.
My life changed forever the day after I graduated from high school when my Dad had a massive stroke. He survived and I was his primary caregiver for the next 30 years. This was the beginning of me taking care of everyone else at the expense of myself.
I was and still am a "fixer" and a "problem solver". I have a strong desire to be the one to help, which is admirable (if I do say so myself ), however, I sacrificed my own well-being in the process.
My belief was "it is what it is". It's not like I have a choice.
My life has always been about doing everything for everyone else without giving much consideration to my own needs and wants. I would hear what other people were doing and often be jealous and think, "that must be nice, but I can't do that". Anyone who offered a suggestion, I always had a reason why "I can't do it". Other people can, but I can't.
Until I turned 50 and realized that this is it. This is my one and only life and I don't want to look back years from now with regret for the things I haven't done.
Maybe I can try something new.
Maybe I can put myself first.
Maybe I can take control of my future.
Maybe I can live the life of my dreams.
After all, other people do it, so why not me?
I'm done with my excuses and ready to take back my life and I know exactly how I'm going to do it.

Lana, a young mother who suffered a traumatic event 11 years ago, has been living under an assumed name. When she visits her hometown to check if it’s safe to reclaim her identity, Lana suffers several mishaps. Then her parents are killed in a car crash. Lana blames herself and her past mistakes until she discovers her mom and dad weren’t who they claimed to be, leading her to suspect their secrets may be responsible for their deaths.
