#34 - Palestine, and Africa's Last Colony ft. Sahrawi Voice Sep 06, 2026
    Show notes

When Morocco became a signatory to the Abraham Accords in 2020, thereby recognising the Israeli State, many were left shocked at what appeared to be a sudden Arab betrayal of the Palestinian cause. What many didn't realise, though, was that decades of ties already existed between the two — ties the Accords built on, leading to the sinister mutual recognition of each other's illegally occupied territories: namely Palestine, and the Western Sahara, dubbed Africa's Last Colony.

In this episode of the Let's Talk Palestine Podcast, we speak to Mohamadsalem, co-founder of Sahrawi Voice, to explore who the occupied Sahrawis are, what their struggle looks like, and look at how both the Palestinian and Sahrawi struggles are inherently linked, as our occupiers deepen ties.

She discusses the violence and tactics used by Zionist terrorist groups during the final years of the British Mandate, and explores how the Nakba reshaped Palestinian identity and memory in the 78 years since.

This conversation centers heavily on Ghada’s book In Search of Fatima. Other notable works of her’s include her new release Murjana. For more information, head to her website https://www.karmi.org

In this episode, Andrew draws out the parallels between apartheid in both South Africa and Palestine, reflects on the importance of boycotts in bringing down apartheid, as well as exploring the ethical dilemmas of negotiating ones own fundamental human rights and dignity.

#31 - Is Israel Still Colonizing Gaza? ft. Forensic Architecture Mar 05, 2026
    Show notes

Eyal Weizman, director of Forensic Architecture, joins us on this episode of the Let’s Talk Palestine Podcast to discuss FA’s recent investigation alongside Drop Site News into how Israel is converting the Yellow Line into a physical boundary, potentially attempting to annex over 50% of Gaza. In this episode, Eyal discusses the topographical relevance of the Yellow Line, combining historical and geographical evidence to analyze the ways in which Israel is violating ceasefire in Gaza, and how the US Master Plan attempts to retain foreign control over Gaza.

This episode is available on YouTube, where we display FA's maps to visualize and help understand Israel's yellow line of colonization.

#27 - Has Israel Already Annexed the West Bank? ft. Mohammad Hureini Aug 06, 2025
    Show notes

While global attention has focused on the Gaza genocide, the Israeli regime has escalated its aggression across the West Bank — through intensified settler attacks and accelerating land theft.

In this episode, we speak to Mohammad Hureini, a local activist from Masafer Yatta, whose community faces regular settler violence and legal displacement. From how these settler attacks unfold on the ground, to how they are a vital piece of the Israeli government's policy of goal of annexing the West Bank, Mohammad walks us through the realities that much of Western media continues to ignore.

*This interview was conducted a few days before the shocking murder of local activist Awdeh Hathaleen. Let's Talk Palestine extends its condolences and solidarity to Awdeh's family and local community.

#25 - What Does Terrorism Actually Mean? ft. Conor Gearty KC Jul 06, 2025
    Show notes

With the term ‘terrorism’ so frequently invoked in Western media coverage of Palestine, today’s episode of the Let’s Talk Palestine Podcast seeks to unpack and critically examine this loaded label.

Conor Gearty KC, a professor of human rights law at LSE and a specialist in anti-terrorism legislation, traces the term’s roots to British-colonial Ireland, explores how Israel later adapted and popularized it to justify its oppression of Palestinians, and reflects on how its use exploded globally following 9/11—fueling the U.S.-led ‘War on Terror’ and the illegal invasion of Iraq.
