    Let’s Get Naked

Let’s Get Naked isn’t about getting naked physically.

It’s about stripping away the excuses, the ego, the victim stories, the BS we’ve all been dragging around, and taking an honest look in the mirror.

Every week, Anne Karber sits down with incredible guests—and occasionally goes off on her own—to tackle the conversations most people avoid. Emotional maturity. Relationships. Success. Failure. Trauma. Politics. Parenting. Addiction. Leadership. Money. Fear. Identity. Personal responsibility. Nothing’s off limits.

If you’re looking for polished interviews full of rehearsed talking points and inspirational clichés…you’re probably in the wrong place.

If you’re ready to laugh, get uncomfortable, challenge your own thinking, and maybe realize you’ve been making your own life harder than it needs to be…welcome.

    Around here we believe:

    • You can disagree without becoming enemies.
    • Your triggers are teachers.
    • Your past explains you, but it doesn’t excuse you.
    • Personal responsibility is freedom.
    • Fixing your own shit is one of the greatest gifts you can give everyone around you.

Some episodes will make you laugh.

Some will punch you in the emotional face.

The best ones usually do both.

So pull up a chair, leave your ego at the door, and…

    Let’s Get Naked.

Disclaimer (Because Apparently We Need One)

    Let’s get a few things straight…

I’m not a therapist. I’m not a psychologist. I’m not a psychiatrist. I’m not your life coach. I don’t even play one on the internet.

I’m just a curious human who has spent a ridiculous amount of time fixing my own shit, talking to fascinating people, asking uncomfortable questions, and occasionally saying the quiet part out loud.

This show is full of stories, opinions, observations, questionable analogies, wildly inappropriate laughter, and an unhealthy amount of oversharing. If something resonates, awesome. If it inspires you to look at your own life a little differently, even better.

But this podcast is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or permission to text your ex.

If your life is genuinely kicking your ass, please go talk to someone who’s actually qualified. Asking for help is badass.

Also, the opinions shared here belong to us, our guests, and whoever was brave enough to sit in front of the microphones that day. They don’t represent our employers, sponsors, families, neighbors, or anyone else who’d probably prefer plausible deniability.

    Now that we’ve handled the grown-up stuff…

    Take what serves you.

    Leave what doesn’t.

And for the love of all things holy…

    Fix your shit.

Walking Away from Life as "Father God" With Andrew-Ryan Profaci Aug 28, 2025
    Show notes

In this powerful episode of Let’s Get Naked, Anne sits down with Andrew-Ryan Profaci, a former cult leader once known as “Father God” in the infamous Love Has Won movement. Andrew opens up about his turbulent childhood, the trauma of losing a friend in a devastating car accident, and the path that led him from seeking meaning to becoming a central figure in one of the most controversial modern-day spiritual cults. With raw honesty, he shares how vulnerability, manipulation, and a longing for connection can draw people into destructive systems—and how he ultimately found the courage to walk away, reclaim his identity, and write The War on Love. This candid conversation explores cult psychology, the human desire for belonging, and the difficult but liberating process of rebuilding life after leaving behind delusion and control.

Andrew-Ryan Profaci is a cult survivor, cancer warrior, and author of The War on Love: The Origin Story of Love Has Won and the Rise of Mother God. Once known as “Father God” inside one of the most infamous spiritual cults in modern history, Andrew escaped the delusion from the inside, walking away from power, identity, and belief to reclaim his truth. His story has been featured on HBO, VICE, and Dateline NBC. On the other side of trauma, addiction, a near-fatal car accident, and cancer, he now speaks on what it takes to fully come home to yourself. Andrew isn’t just about cults, he’s about facing the unthinkable, stripping away every false layer, and emerging more real, more grounded, and more powerful than ever before.

Savage Self-Awareness: Numbing With Alcohol Aug 25, 2025
    Show notes

In this bold and unfiltered episode of Let’s Get Naked, we kick off the Savage Self-Awareness mini-series with a raw conversation about alcohol—the “liquid escape hatch” so many of us use to mute our emotions. Stripping away society’s glamorization of booze, we get real about the ways alcohol disconnects us from our feelings, relationships, and goals. With deep personal reflections on her own journey to sobriety, the host challenges us to get curious rather than defensive: What are we actually trying not to feel when we drink? This episode is a call to take inventory—not just of how much we drink, but why—and to consider the emotional and financial cost of numbing. No judgment, just truth. Because buried feelings don’t disappear—they leak.

This podcast dives deep into real, raw topics—think vulnerability, triggers, and childhood trauma. But just so we're super clear: I’m not a licensed therapist, mental health professional, or anything close. Challenging The Herd Mentality Jul 28, 2025
    Show notes

In this mini-episode of Let’s Get Naked, Anne explores the timeless tale of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” as a metaphor for today’s culture of conformity, fear-based silence, and herd mentality. She challenges listeners to break free from groupthink, speak up when something feels off, and embrace the discomfort that comes with standing in your truth. Drawing parallels to ego-driven leadership and societal norms—including a nod to her own experience questioning organized religion—Anne encourages us to be like the child in the story who wasn’t afraid to call out the obvious. True growth, she reminds us, lives on the other side of discomfort.
