Leona Apr 04, 2022

Show notes

The Radiant Dawn sure is radiant, especially when making lists. Does she still make lists? We hope so, even if she just fills them with people to murder. Leona's personality varies quite a bit in all her short stories, and we have fun trying to piece it all together with another Patreon guest, Tomatohead. Yay!

Lee Sin Mar 28, 2022

Show notes

It's hard to imagine League of Legends without The Blind Monk, and it was hard for Riot to imagine any lore for him. At least anything new. But at least we have these Journal of Justice articles to go through!

LeBlanc Mar 21, 2022

Show notes

We love that this Deceiver seems to be all over Runeterra sticking her fingers in pies (it'll make sense when you hear the episode), but we could use a little bit more about, ya know, why? What's your game, Leblanc? And why are you basically immortal? Is this just a Runeterra thing? Very confusing, please clarify. Thank you.

Kog'Maw Mar 14, 2022

Show notes

If you're curious what Kog'Maw's lore is, he's a void pup who likes to eat. And that's about it. Poor boy doesn't even have a short story! So we've come up with our own ideas. Obviously all of them are gold.

Kled Mar 07, 2022

Show notes

We were so happy to have Sean from Trinity Force Pod with us to talk about the Cantankerous Cavalier. Kled doesn't have a lot of lore, but Riot sure had a solid idea for this champ and they ran with it (much like Skaarl!). I think for the first time, we really need more AU's here than anything else! MORE KLED SKINS!!

Kindred Feb 28, 2022

Show notes

We've learned that when Riot has a solid idea about a champion, they can really nail it. It helps to have one writer on as well. These Eternal Hunters have several short stories to go through, and we discussed with our first Patron guest, Hart!

Kha'Zix Feb 21, 2022

Show notes

Kha'Zix is one of the few champions we actually don't feel like needs more lore. He's a simple Voidreaver who just wants to eat the big kitty cat, Rengar. Love that for him. What a bug!

Kennen Feb 14, 2022

Show notes

As another old champ, Kennen classically hasn't had his lore touched in quite a while. The Heart of the Tempest really loves his balance and is wildly inconsistent, and we kind of wanted old, hyper Kennen back. You know, when he had parents. And that brings us to the heart of this episode: Do yordles have parents? Why not, Riot?

Kayn (Feat. Trinity Force Pod) Feb 07, 2022

Show notes

The Shadow Reaper was cool and all, but we want more Kayn and Rhaast sass! Joining us this episode is NA Erik from the Trinity Force Podcast, teaching us why we're bad at Kayn, serving up some great gameplay tips, and weighing in on how well his lore translates to his gameplay.

Kayle Jan 31, 2022

Show notes

Kayle may be known as The Righteous, but we found her to be more like "baby's first lawful good". Calm down, Kayle. We love the ideas here but need more behind this twin dynamic because come on, Riot, explore the paaaain. We need more pain!
