League of Loreheads

Latest Episodes:

Miss Fortune Jun 13, 2022

Show notes

Miss Fortune has quite a few short stories, a comic, and just a bunch of lore in general. But there's not a lot of bounty hunting in The Bounty Hunter's lore. Until we get to the AU's anyway, where she's a bounty hunter is just about every setting imaginable.

Master Yi Jun 06, 2022

Show notes

Poor Master Yi suffers from being a stereotypical lonely swordsman BUT HE DID IT FIRST, OKAY? The Wuju Bladesman had a good amount of lore for being one of the oldest champions in the game, and it was enjoyable if not a little predictable. At least they explain why his mask has so many eyes...right? RIGHT?

Maokai May 30, 2022

Show notes

The Twisted Treant is an ornery old soul, and we can relate. Yet another old champ tied into Viego's bull poop who didn't get any screen time during Rise of the Sentinels. But that's okay, it's still better than his old lore, which involves Twisted Treeline. What a throwback.

Malzahar May 23, 2022

Show notes

Even though he's an old champ and tied to the Void, this prophet was shockingly interesting. And barely changed from his original lore over a decade ago. Like most void champs, our main problem is that WE NEED MORE, RIOT. So please include in the void event, or I will cry.

Malphite May 16, 2022

Show notes

If you're wondering how much lore the Shard of the Monolith has, it's uhhh, not a whole lot. But what a nice break after all those extremely long episodes, yeah? But don't worry, there are also a bunch of incredibly old AU's that makes no sense!

Lux May 09, 2022

Show notes

Sorry for another 2 hour long episode, but Riot really likes The Lady of Luminosity, and so do we. You can't tell, because we like to poke fun about how little Lux knows about shadows, but she's a fun lady. With a bunch of short stories, a comic, and 8 million skins, there's quite a bit to discuss. Plus, more opportunity to make fun of Garen.

And thank you for joining us, Kide!!

Lulu May 02, 2022

Show notes

The Fae Sorceress has way more lore than any other yordle we've talked about so far but stiiiiil not a whole lot. Still, Lulu's lore is extremely fun, and we need more yordle cinematics! Thank you so much Faye Mata for blessing us with your wonderful presence!

Lucian Apr 25, 2022

Show notes

Not only does The Purifier have quite a bit of lore in his name, it's all actually pretty well done. Lucian has been involved in some of the most well thought out lore in League of Legends history. Oh and also Rise of the Sentinels.

Lissandra Apr 18, 2022

Show notes

There's a lot of cooks in the kitchen for this one, which means maybe some of this story is in consistent, or maybe Lissandra is just a massive A-Hole. Or both! Or maybe none of it matters because most of her stories aren't linked on the Universe page anyway.

Lillia Apr 11, 2022

Show notes

We're not sure if we were too stupid for Lillia's metaphorical lore or maybe it was just a little wishy washy. Whatever it is, we could not focus on The Bashful Bloom , so maybe it's a good thing she doesn't have a lot of lore.
