Motivated by the death of a close one, 6 Pack Lapadat began visiting cancer camps for kids, public schools, to give motivational speeches and raise money for charity by pulling airplanes and flipping cars. When the news story went National, life changed. A reality TV show followed, then several large TV appearances (you'll know the shows) around the World with interesting results. When the IPF President decided to add 6 Pack Lapadat to the World Championships Commentating team, the rest was history. KOTL began at the same time with the vision of becoming a news source for Powerlifting with training footage of the stars, preview shows for large competitions, results updates, recap shows, a podcast with the Sport's athletes as guests, and a platform to push forward the sport. 6 Pack Lapadat is joined by Arthur Lynch (of No Lift Podcast) to tell the untold story behind King Of The Lifts.

At 41 years old, with no cartilage in one knee, and a hamstring that tore right off the bone on the other leg, O'Dell Manuel had to make some hard decisions. Pressure to retire was heavy, and more than reasonable. Doctors said he would never return to form. But he would be doing so having never won "the BIG one". In the untested Super heavyweight division, it got no bigger than the Big Dogs event.

Win or lose, O'Dell promised his loved ones he would retire after one last try. For the first time, all his family showed for the event. What took place at Big Dogs 4 became the stuff of legend.

From a thousand pounds flying over his head, almost bombing out on bench, to the dramatic last Deadlift...it was the perfect ending to a remarkable comeback story.
