#30 - Self Compassion for Past Mistakes Jul 30, 2020
    Show notes

Here's some big old truth: We all make mistakes, all the time! If we could accept that, how different would life be? The issue is that we all have this illusion or idea of what we "should have" done or who we "should be". Helloooo, Perfectionism! We're really hard on ourselves. And being hard on yourself won't help you in the process of forgiving, it actually hinders you from moving on. In this episode I guide you through a process for getting fascinated with your memories, using specific tips to forgive your past self.

    #29 - Giving Yourself Epic Permission Jul 16, 2020
    Show notes

This is something I know you're going to find mega-useful: The three ingredients required in order to give yourself permission. Permission to do what you want to do, be who you want to be, and show the f*ck up exactly as you truly are. So many people are unconsciously waiting around for someone else to write them a metaphorical permission slip to follow their deepest desires or live life on their own terms, but it's time to become your own authority and grant yourself permission! Take a listen, and see what you feel inspired to do next...

    #28 - Anti-Racism, Apologies, and Ownership Jul 16, 2020
    Show notes

Continuing the conversation regarding the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion in my work moving forward, because now is not the time for neutrality, or prioritizing white comfort. I fully acknowledge and apologize for my lateness in adequately addressing these vital, necessary issues sooner in my work and online community. Please know that I am committed to making changes, and continuing to own where I've fallen short. In this episode, I share some of the amazing leaders that I am learning from and working with as I commit to ongoing anti-racism work, and how I intend to put inclusion and equity at the forefront of my mission as a whole.

    #27 - Welcome Back & WTF Happened? Jul 16, 2020
    Show notes

After an (unexpected) two-year hiatus, I am officially back for season two! Woohoooo! Over the past eighteen months I've been navigating the challenges of entrepreneurial burnout (eek), especially as it relates to my most favorite creative endeavors -- my podcast and YouTube channel. I've spent a lot of time learning how to reign in my "inner high achiever" and replenish my resources, so I can feel fully equipped to dive back into regular episode production. In this episode, you'll hear all about what's been going on with me during the break, and what you can expect moving forward.

#26 - The Possibility and Power in Saying "No" Mar 29, 2018
    Show notes

This is the last episode for the first season of the podcast! One lesson I keep learning is the power and possibility of saying a simple, "No." I'm talking about saying NO to things that don't serve you or bring you joy. Sometimes we psych ourselves out, and get suck into FOMO, right? But your authentic, empowered NO will always move you in the right direction. Be sure to join the email list at www.amyyoungcoaching.com to find out when season 2 begins!

#25 - Woman: You are the PRIZE Mar 27, 2018
    Show notes

This one is for all my sisters who experience some version of (womp womp!) low self-esteem. As women, in my experience, um--we all kinda have it at least a little bit. We're really not taught to celebrate ourselves! To accept ourselves! To embrace who we are starting now! And life is far too short to not love ourselves, ladies! So please turn on this episode, look in the mirror and admit that you are a PRIZE. You are worth winning. Amen!

    #23 - Other People's Problems (What to Do?!) Mar 20, 2018
    Show notes

What are you supposed to do about other people's problems? Like when someone you care about is making clearly terrible decisions?! I receive a lot of messages from people asking how to help other people with their problems, and while sure -- it comes from a place of love...is it really your job to solve their problems? Because if you can figure stuff out, hell - so can (and should) everyone else. Hold off on your problem-solving for just a few, and listen in.
