The Word of God yet again reveals a truth to us that can be seen in plain sight! We ourselves have experienced this… yes, we’re talking about ungodly behaviors becoming the norm. The Lord sets a standard that He wants upheld, but as people we break His laws, and before we know it, we make walking completely opposite of Him socially acceptable, so much so that it doesn’t even bother us anymore. What a dangerous condition to find ourselves in! Join us as we study this!

Who really enjoys pain? Seriously, a toothache, a dislocated or severely fractured bone, or whatever the worst pain is—no one takes pleasure in that! Many things are not physically painful but rather not “fun,” and even those are difficult to bear at times, such as chores, schooling, or work, to name a few. No matter where it lies on the spectrum, we all desire relief from things that are painful, unpleasant, or just unwanted... and that’s where the Lord steps in!

In life, we find ourselves being sad and “down in the dumps” about many things. We have many worries, regrets, and fears. Through it all, the Word of the Lord assures us that we will have the victory! So simply tonight, the people of God ought to cheer up! The race is rigged because Christ always wins!

Although we know this, we often become relaxed, stagnant, and comfortable. As a result, every now and again, the Lord allows things to wake us up and sound the alarm once again in our minds to take His Word seriously. What will the Lord show next? Sure, He has shown His love, miracles, and many wonderful signs... but those are not the only things He told us would happen...

One thing that is of the utmost importance is that we have the true, whole Word of God. We live in a world where everyone has a belief, faith, and doctrine. Sadly, though, our beliefs won’t hold up if they are not aligned with what the Lord says. In this week’s lesson, we look at the importance of sound doctrine and scratch the surface of what it takes to get there.

Open Doors Sep 10, 2026

One thing we all love is being blessed! There are so many ways to be blessed and have doors opened in our lives. We begin with a promise made by God to His people, who, like us, have gone astray. But due to His love, instead of casting us away, God doubles down and declares to us that He will still open doors if we would simply follow His instruction.

Every man is right in his own eyes, but the truth is that we have made some very foolish and unwise decisions. When I examine my own life, I see many things I wish I had done differently. Nonetheless, the past is behind us as we march on to a higher calling. If we truly seek wisdom in how to live this life, we must learn of Christ!

Even in the Old Testament, we see the coming of Christ, the One who would come to save His people from their sins. The plan of salvation has been spoken by the Lord, and it will not change. With this being the case, our goal must be to not deviate from the foundation and to stand with what has been given, as it is tried and true! Will you hold to the salvation that was once given?
