The Law of Moses Jul 10, 2019

Show notes

In Moses’ Law, there are a LOT of rules that they had to follow. They couldn’t eat certain meat, they couldn’t wear certain shirts, etc. One of the main tasks they had to keep was that they couldn’t do any work whatsoever on the Sabbath Day. A lot of people still try to uphold these rules today. Do we have to keep them? As Christians, are we prohibited from eating certain meats? In today’s episode, we answer these questions and many more. Be blessed!

There’s Safety in the Ark Jul 07, 2019

Show notes

Jesus said that just as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man. Noah preached for 120 years that it would rain. 120 years… and all he got to listen to him was 7 people. It was Noah, his wife, their three sons, and his sons’ three wives. Just like today when the true word of God gets spread, no one wants to listen. There is safety in today’s metaphorical ark, just as it was safety in the physical ark in the days of Noah. Let’s take a look in the Good Book and see how we can attain this safety. Y’all be blessed!

Natural Eye vs. Spiritual Eye Jul 07, 2019

Show notes

When we, as people, look at different situations, we tend to look at them from a natural standpoint. From the natural standpoint, we begin to think, “There’s no way I can make it through this. God has left me. God doesn’t love me.” But, when we start looking at things from a Godly standpoint, our whole mentality starts to change. We may not understand why God allows some of these things to happen to us at first, but we’ll hold the faith and realize that it will be made all so clear to us. While we may naturally be able to see, we can definitely still be spiritually blind. In today’s episode, we’ll start reading a story in the Old Testament where a young man is in the situation a lot of us may see ourselves in today. He thought that there was no way out. He had his natural sight. But let’s see what happens when he received his spiritual sight. Y’all be blessed!

The Oneness of God Jun 28, 2019

Show notes

Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is One! One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism. A huge misconception in today’s teaching is that there are three separate entities that we follow. God, Jesus, and The Holy Ghost. These three are one. It’s all Jesus. It’s the name we pray in. It’s the name we should baptize in. In Revelation, Jesus said He is the alpha and omega, which means the beginning and the end. So, he is the Father and the Holy Spirit. He had to clear that up. We already know He is the Son. This topic can be very complicated. In today’s episode we try our best to help our viewers and listeners understand the oneness. Y’all be blessed!

Focus Verse: Colossians 2:9

All Verses Covered: Colossians 2:8-9, Luke 3:21-22, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Exodus 3:13-14, John 1:1,10,14, 3:3,5, 8:56-59, 10:30-33, 14:8-9, 18:1-6, Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 John 5:5-8

The Heart Jun 28, 2019

Show notes

Whenever we are about to make a huge decision about anything, the most popular thing we hear is, “Just follow your heart.” 9 times out of 10, what our heart wants is going to be something that goes directly against what God wants. The scripture says that the heart is the most deceitful thing. That’s why David had to pray for a clean heart. In today’s episode, we begin by reading a biblical story about a preacher who told someone to follow their heart. Y’all be blessed!

The Preacher’s Job Jun 28, 2019

Show notes

What all is the preacher responsible for? Is he someone that we listen to for one (maybe two) day(s) out of the week? Or is he responsible for more than that? The shepard is responsible for the sheep, not the other way around. In this episode, we discuss what all our preachers are responsible for. Those who hear the words of the true preacher hears the words of God. Y’all be blessed!
