    2021 NFL Playoff Predictions Jan 06, 2021
    Show notes

Happy 2021 everyone! Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the 2021 NFL Playoffs. We will give our take and make our predictions and we will also be discussing the 2020 NFL Regular Season. Week 17 of the 2020 ended in dramatic fashion as several teams took care of business to secure their seat at the table for the 2021 NFL Playoffs. In the AFC, the Ravens defeated the Bengals, the Colts beat the Jags and the Browns edged the Steelers, to capture the 5, 6 and 7 seeds. In the NFC, The Buccs, Rams and Bears also secured their slots as the 5, 6 and 7 seeds in the NFC. So here we are! The regular season no longer matters as it's win or go home from here on out, meaning the better team can be outplayed and sent home as a result, just ask the 2007 Patriots. The stakes couldn't be any higher as each NFL Playoff game will feel like an NBA Game 7 Playoff game. This is why they say "Any given Sunday" when it comes to football.1 bad performance can get you sent home! This is what we've been waiting all season for! The 2021 NFL Playoffs is the first time they've allowed 7 NFL teams in both the AFC and NFC to make the Playoffs while only giving the top seed of each conference a bye. We'll be sharing our views on this approach. We will also be discussing the Top 5 Offenses, Top 5 Defenses, Top 5 teams, who we feel should be Coach Of The Year and MVP, we're basically gonna discuss it all! If you're a football fan and are looking forward to the 2021 NFL Playoffs like us, this is where you wanna be, because we are about to go in! Good Riddance 2020, Hello 2021! Dec 30, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, is the final episode of It's Real Talk Radio for 2020, as we say good riddance to 2020 and prepare for 2021. 2020 was full of ups and downs. The Coronavirus completely shifted the potential of 2020 and made this arguably the worst year in modern history. We've taken some devastating losses including Kobe Bryant and Chadwick Boseman. Let us not forget the senseless murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police, which sparked huge protests, backlash and riots. The NBA and MLB suspended their seasons but would later resume them under strict guidelines to keep athletes, fans and staff safe and for the first time in modern major sports history, fans were forced to watch the games from home. Even the current NFL season has had very limited fan participation in only the few states whose guidelines would even allow fans at a limited capacity. For the first time in modern history, families were asked to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas home with the people they live with and not have big social gatherings to help avoid widespread of COVID-19. We had the 2020 Presidential Election with record breaking turnout and a surprising outcome as Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump and as of January, 2021, will become the 46th president of the United States. For the left wing and despisers of Donald Trump, this was the highlight of 2020. For the right wing and Trump supporters, this was the icing on the cake for 2020. There is a COVID-19 Vaccine that has recently been released and more are on the way once they're approved. The nation is divided when it comes to the Coronavirus Vaccine due to many not trusting what is believed to have been a rush job. The 2020 Verzez battles provided some much needed entertainment as tours and live performances were cancelled and postponed, due to COVID. The most notable being Jeezy vs Gucci. This has been a challenging year for us all! Good Riddance 2020 and hello 2021!

How Much Of A Role Did COVID-19 Play In Ruining 2020? Dec 27, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the impact COVID-19 had on the year 2020. As we wind down and begin to reflect on 2020, you can't help but think about COVID and how it affected not only America, but just about the rest of the planet as well. Countries you've never even heard of had spikes! This has been a challenging year in deed and for a vast majority, the most challenging of their lifetime! The Coronavirus played The Grinch for the entire year of 2020! Many of the working class got laid off or become unemployed and many small businesses faced financial ruins, having to devastatingly lay people off, let people go, lose business and many even had to close! Many believed that before the pandemic, America's economy was in good of shape as it's ever been but since the pandemic, the economy faced some of the harshest times, since its inception. It's believed that the massive job loss and downward spiraling economy, due to the pandemic, is the reason the Trump Administration loss the 2020 Presidential Election. One question we must ask ourselves is how much of the blame should be placed on Trump's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic? Most left wing enthusiasts and even some on the right wing believe that tens of thousands of lives could've been saved by Trump simply acting on the pandemic sooner, taking it more serious from the beginning and persuading everyone to wear masks and social distance. There is audio that has been released of a recording conversation with soon to be former President Trump admitting to intentionally blowing off the pandemic and its deadly impact. This outraged many Americans. So here we are. 2021 is a week away and we are still seeing crazy spikes! There is a newly released vaccine but many express concerns in what is believed to have been a rush job and skepticism has prevented a national sense of relief. Are you comfortable taking the new vaccine?

Celebrating Black Excellence With Aspiring Rapper Shay Taylor Dec 16, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we continue our journey on Black Excellence, as we are joined by aspiring rapper, Shay Taylor, who is the daughter of It's Real Talk Radio co-host, Bobby G. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Shay found a love for music and a passion for Hip Hop, as she started to develop her pen game, which lead to her hitting the studio, and now dropping new music. Speaking of new music, Shay has an EP, titled "Growth", which is scheduled to drop on all major digital streaming sites, next week. The stars were obviously aligned for this discussion, as Shay prepares for her big debut! Shay will also be sharing some music with us, as we have 3 tracks that we will be airing, throughout the course of this discussion. So this isn't just word of mouth, you guys will get to hear Shay Taylor live and direct! We have some great questions for Shay, as we dig in our bag, the It's Real Talk Radio way, to give you a vibe and connection with our guest. There is Black Excellence all over the place and we are determined to use our platform to help showcase it. Talented kings and queens come a dime a dozen, but it sadly tends to get overshadowed by ignorance. We're here to level the playing field! Celebrating Black Excellence With Special Guest Deja Grissom Dec 09, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be joined by special guest, Deja Grissom, as we continue our display of Black Excellence! Deja is a 19 year old freshman in college who is continuing her journey to success. Deja is the little sister of our previous guest, Kendra Grissom, who we had on for a discussion back on May 15th, 2020. It’s an honor to have another young, Black woman join us for a discussion, as we acknowledge the will and determination in Black Excellence. Deja shows great promise like a lot of other young Black men and women, but it doesn't get the recognition is deserves, because the media and entertainment industries love to show the ignorant side of Black people, but not the perseverance if you aren't dribbling a basketball, catching a football, on the big screen, or doing something that the powers that be can capitalize from. This is a narrative that has to change and with every discussion we have with Black people who are looking to make a positive impact, we're gonna help chip away at it. Born a native of Baltimore City, Deja could have easily followed the crowd, went down a dark road and became another statistic, but she refused to allow that to happen. With the guidance of a pair of great parents who would not allow their children to get caught in the madness, Deja persevered and is now on her way to earning her college degree, as both her big sisters have obtained. Her big sister Kendra has earned a Bachelor's Degree in African American Studies and her oldest sister Tierra has a degree in Accounting. Majoring is English, Deja has big goals to become an author, producer and screen writer. She also plans to work for a Black owned magazine, Tonight, we will be discussing what life was like growing up in Baltimore, issues within the Black Community, politics, COVID-19, Black History, her career choice of screen writing and womanism. It's about to get Real!

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Review/Drama In Hip Hop Dec 02, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be reviewing the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones event that just took place on Saturday, November 28th, 2020. This was our first tine getting to see Iron Mike in the ring since his disappointing defeat against Kevin McBride on June 11, 2005, making this Tyson's first fight in 15 years! The night started out with 2 very entertaining fights in Badou Jack vs Blake McKernan and Jamaine Ortiz vs Sulaiman Segawa. The third fight would turn out to have the most controversy and stole the show. Nate Robinson vs Jake Paul ended with some unexpected fireworks as Nate Robinson was knocked down 3 times, with the third knockdown putting him to sleep. Nobody saw this comin as the 3 time NBA Slam Dunk Champion and 1 time NBA Finals appearance NBA veteran was knocked unconscious by YouTube star Jake Paul! Of course the commentary from Hip Hop legend Snoop made the knockout that much more explosive. The night concluded with Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones facing off in an exhibition fight. Most boxing historians were entertained just knowing 2 of the greatest to ever do it stepped into the squared circle but there was also a lot of criticism from customers of the PPV because there was a lot of clinching, usually initiated by Roy Jones, who before the fight, admitted his fear of Iron Mike's power. The fight ended in a draw but most boxing fans feel like Mike Tyson won because he was the aggressor and threw more punches. We will also be discussing the drama and violence in Hip Hop. Rappers are in all types of drama and beefing and being shot and killed at an alarming rate, and we must ask ourselves “Why is this happening?” Why does the music industry promote genocide in Hip Hop, which mostly affects Black people? From Nipsey Hussle to King Von, the killing of rappers is alarming! Just recently, Boosie Badazz was shot in Dallas, TX! The violence is out of control and this must be addressed!

What Are You Thankful For? Nov 25, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be having a discussion on what we're thankful for. Thanksgiving, 2020, is on this Thursday, so you know we have to share some of our most memorable Thanksgiving moments. Aside from all the grubbing most of you plan on doing, what are you actually thankful for? We will be sharing what we're thankful for and how much food we plan on stuffing our faces with! We will be also discussing things that have been going on lately in media and in life in what we like to call a round table discussion. We'll probably even throw some sports in there. Lately, rappers have been getting shot, Donald Trump is still in denial of losing the 2020 Election, and COVID cases have been on the rise. Megan Thee Stallion dropped a new album and has a Tory Lanez diss record and from what we're being told, a Coronavirus Vaccine is on its way and should be available sometime soon, but do you plan on taking it, is it safe and what are the side effects and long-term effects of a rushed vaccine? Oh, and let us not forget, social media is as toxic as ever! This is one of those topics where you kick back and just go with the vibe. Throughout our show's history, these types of discussions have made for some of our best content. Feel free to share what you're thankful for, some of your favorite Thanksgiving memories, or just what's been going on lately in media or even in your personal life. You already know we're gonna bring the realness, so lock in with us as we get ready to take this ride! Donald Trump Refuses To Concede After Disappointing 2020 Election Loss Nov 18, 2020
    Show notes

Public Service Announcement: It's Real Talk Radio has moved from Fridays at 10:00 PM Eastern Time, to Tuesdays at 10:00 PM Eastern Time. Tonight will be our first official Tuesday night show. Tay Real & Bobby G will debut their new collaboration, Rap It Up. Yes, these 2 hosts are emcees as well! We will play Rap It Up at the beginning of the show before getting into our main topic. Tonight's discussion is about Donald Trump refusing to accept defeat in his 2020 Election loss. The fact that the sitting president has refused to accept defeat nearly 2 weeks after his loss has been announced is alarming. Donald Trump has been doing everything in his power to deny his defeat, even going as far as filing lawsuits in 5 battle ground states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona and Nevada. These are the 5 states that sealed the deal and gave President Elect, Joe Biden, the victory over Donald Trump. After multiple failed lawsuits, the Trump Administration is still at it and shows no signs of letting up. It's to the point, many are starting to wonder if Donald Trump will willingly step down to allow President Elect Joe Biden to take his rightful place as commander and chief, come January, 2020, in the American presidential tradition known as "Peaceful Transfer Of Power". Trump has also refused to share intelligence and give briefings to the Biden Administration. To say the United States presidency is being made a mockery of is an understatement. Meanwhile, COVID cases are rising again and while most of the attention seems to be on the 2020 Election controversy, thousands of Americans continue to get sick and die on the daily basis, while Trump seems to only be concerned with how to stay in office and rile up his base. Tonight we will be diving in and keeping it real as always, so don't miss out! Call In # 563-999-3434

Interview with Republican Candidate Kimberly Klacik (2014) Nov 14, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, we dig into the archives to present to you a throwback interview with Republican candidate Kimberly Klacik. It was a great discussion and it shows a warm and compassionate side of Ms. Klacik, who has been getting criticized for her public support for Donald Trump and criticism for Democrats, though she represents Baltimore, a majority Black city. We didn't talk politics in this discussion but as far as we know, she wasn't even into politics yet, at least she hadn't gone public yet. For those of you who like or dislike Ms. Klacik, you'll get to see what she was up to and how she conducted herself during that time. We also had a conversation about stalkers and crazy exes that was fun and hilarious. You definitely don't wanna miss that! Listen and enjoy and we will be back with a live show next week. Biden On The Brink Of Defeating Trump For The 2020 Presidential Election Nov 07, 2020
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the drama of the 2020 Presidential Election. The 2020 Presidential Election has been one for the ages and one like we've never seen before COVID-19 was a big difference maker in this election due to its impact causing millions of Americans to vote via Mail-In Ballots, verse the traditional way of voting at your local polling place. Some states chose to count their mail-in ballots before Election Day while others chose to count their mail-in ballots after counting the in person ballots during Election Day. This caused an epic turn around in the vote count, as many Democrat voters chose to vote by mail while most Republicans reportedly voted on Election Day. Why is this significant? Because Trump advised his supporters to not trust the mail-in ballot process and to specifically show up during Election Day. This led to a comfortable lead for Trump during Election Day, as nightmares of 2016 began to haunt the Democrats. Trump came out on top on Election Day, but there were still many mail-in ballots to count, and that's when the epic comeback began. Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada were the 6 remaining states that would determine the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election. As the mail-in ballots began to be counted, Joe Biden made huge turnarounds in Michigan and Wisconsin and eventually won those states, which was a complete momentum shift in this race. Trump had a comfortable lead in Georgia that was eventually wiped out as the momentum of the mail-in ballots really started to kick in and as of now, Biden has leads in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Arizona. Since the turnaround of the mail-in ballots, Donald Trump has taken to Twitter and even had a live press conference to express his distrust of the mail-in ballot process, arguing that he is being cheated and that he already won during Election Day.
