Living A Poly Life With Special Guest, Praedian Montgomery Mar 03, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be joined by special guest Praedian Montgomery, and the topic of discussion is poly life. Don't let the witty wordplay and intellect of this brother fool you. Praedian is a native of Baltimore City and is from the hood! But having been raised by great parents who are career professionals, you would never know. Just as well as he can talk evolution and astrophysics, he could point you to the weed man, dope boys, and let you know which neighborhoods to stay away from, if you a'int about that life. So how did we get here? Well Praedian is a childhood friend of host Tay Real, and after reconnecting and engaging in some intriguing debates via Facebook, they agreed that an official discussion on air would make for some great dialogue. Praedian, the son of monogamous parents, has grown an interest in poly, in recent years. How or why? Well that's what we're here to find out today. Polyamory in America has become increasingly popular, after being frowned upon for ages. But is it really that bad? Are poly people really the true domestic outlaws of America, or are they just misunderstood and to be more direct, hated on? One could argue, the reason most people are so against plural relationships and plural marriages is that they themselves lack the ability to successfully live the lifestyle, so from the opposing perspective, they see participants as having their cake and eating it too. We must acknowledge that statistically speaking, around 30 to 40% of Americans couples cheat, and this is just from what is documented. What about all of the couples who don't put their business out on social media and share with everyone? It's reasonable to assume those #'s are 20 to 30% higher! But in plural relationships, you don't have that issue so much. Time to get real!

Are You The Alpha Or Beta Of Your Relationship? Feb 24, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing alpha males vs beta males. The question we're asking is “Are you the alpha or beta of your relationship?”, or “Are you possibly the omega of your relationship?” Well history shows that anything short of an alpha is settling for most heterosexual women. You ever wonder why the neighborhood drug dealer gets all the women and even the college degree career guy falls short? Well most drug dealers, so called gangsters and so on are typically alpha males, because you have to be in that lifestyle or you will get ran over. We can play politics and pitch the whole fairy tale ending where the princess kisses the prince and he goes from a frog back to a man and they ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after, but this is real life and we ARE ON It's Real Talk Radio, so let's keep it real! Women aren't attracted to beta males which most nice guys are. You know the reward most men get for being beta males? Friend zoned! Oh yes, that infamous friend zone is the female of all dogs, aint it?! We see relationships where the woman wears the pants and is the leader of the house hold. These women are typically referred to as alpha females and if we're gonna be real about it, we all know alpha females don't respect men, especially men who allow themselves to be dominated. To those of you who challenge the previous statement, understand that the mere thought of a dominate female is hypocritical to the role of a man. Basically if she wears the pants, he wears the skirt and his manhood will eventually be annihilated. Well this is why it's time to have this conversation. Alpha males have been a hot topic since forever but wit the rise in beta males, the alpha male topic has become as popular as ever. Well it's time to dig in with the realest duel in podcasting! Celebrating Black History Month Feb 17, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we are celebrating Black History Month! It has been a long road for Black people in America and we still have a long way to go, but there has been tremendous progress made from the early 1900's to the 2020's. The very foundation of the United States was built off the back of Black slaves who provided free labor, by force! We can open up the history books and visit way too many horror stories of Black men, women and children being mistreated, abused, assaulted and murdered. The history of this country is a very dark one indeed. This is the reason the phrase "Make America Great Again" is so offensive to Black people, because the further you go back, the worse they had it. We found it very important to have a show celebrating Black History Month to pay homage to all of the heroric Black legends that came before us, so tonight is a special one. We have audio of speeches from some of the greatest Black speakers of all-time and we will be sharing these great speeches with you throughout the show. That's right, we have speeches from: Malcom X, Martin Luther King, James Baldwin, Marcus Garvey, and former president Barack Obama! Oh yes, this is gonna one for the ages! Legendary Black speakers, protestors and leaders paved the way for the current American Blacks to have the lives they have now. You like that nice car you drive around every day? Loving your nice house you bought out in the suburbs? Do you appreciate the great career you have that helps you provide for yourself and your Black family? Well you can think former Black activists, speakers and point blank, Black leaders for the lives you have now and because of that, we must never forget and always acknowledge their sacrifice and greatness. Well that's what tonight is all about! So please, join us in celebration as we acknowledge and pay homage to our greats!

Super Bowl LV Review Feb 10, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing Super Bowl 55. Within thhat discussion, we're also gonna discuss Tom Brady and Pat Mahomes and who is the best quarterback, currently. Was Max Kellerman right with his analytics on Brady falling off the cliff, or has Tom Brady proved him wrong and was Stephen A. Smith right about Max Kellerman not knowing what the hell he's talking about? Were you surprised that Gronk played such a huge role in the Patriots dominant performance over the Chiefs? Did Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce leave their games at home, or were the Buccs defense simply that good? With a final score of KC 9 TB 31, most fans were shocked about the outcome of this game, as Kansas City seemed to favorites to repeat. The last time an NFL team won back to back Super Bowls was win the Tom Brady led New England Patriots won in 03 and 04. Since then, teams have flip flopped from year to year. This was a golden opportunity for the Chiefs to be put in rare company, but they fell short, so where does that leave the greatness of this high powered juggernaut of a team? Tom Brady has announced that he will be back in the 2021 season to make another run for another title. If Tom Brady were to get back to the Super Bowl next season, and win it all, he will become the first NFL QB to win multiple Super Bowls with 2 different teams. As if this man needs any more accomplishments! Hate him or love him, Tom Brady pulled off what many thought couldn't be done and he did it at home, making the Tampa Bay Buccs the first NFL team to pay a Super Bowl at home and the first NFL team to win a Super Bowl at home; an impressive accomplishment, indeed. Why Aren't Good Men Appreciated? Jan 27, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing good men. The question we wanna know is why aren't good men appreciated? From high profiled relationships to everyday people, the outcome is the same. Good men struggling to connect with women who appreciate and embrace them for being good men. What we notice is women tend to put bad guys on blast all on social media and in their girl talks, but rarely mention the good men who hold it down on the daily. The fraction of good men being celebrated verses men who get criticized is scarce, to say the least. This is an issue that needs fixing. Nobody wants to feel unacknowledged or unappreciated. Good guys are used to getting the short end of the stick. You pretty much can't win for losing. If you try your best to do everything right, you're just doing what good guys are supposed to do but if you mess up (and good guys mess up like everyone else), now you get the same type of criticism that the bad guys get and women tend to be more accepting of screw ups from bad guys because bad guys are expected to screw up but good guys are expected to always be on the straight and narrow, so it's pandemonium when they mess up. This is one of those controversial discussions that it's time for us to have. Of course some women will deny it, but statistics speak volume and statistically speaking, good guys get the short end of the stick. People's definitions of a good man could slightly differ, but the general standard is someone who: takes care of home, is a provider and a protector, non-confrontational, a gentleman, a team player, thoughtful, mild mannered, responsible, reliable, etc. What is a bad guy? Well that's pretty self-explanatory. We can define bad guys with 1 word, toxic! Well we're here to try to figure this out, and you already know we're gonna give you that realness, so tune in!

Today Is Trump's Last Day In Office Jan 20, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the end of the Trump era as Joe Biden prepares to take office on tomorrow, Wednesday, January 20, 2021. With all that has transpired in the last 4 years, America now beholds a new beginning under President Elect Joe Biden. Trump has made it clear that he will not be attending Biden's inauguration, which is very rare in the American Presidency. Trump’s behavior is classless and immature. Trump is the kid who didn't get picked on the team, so he frowns, throws a temper tantrum, cries, storms off, then files a lawsuit. It's actually pretty sad to see this behavior from a sitting president. One question we must ask ourselves is “How does the world view American politics, post Trump era?” Whether you agree or disagree with the politics, American politics used to reflect strength, character, and class. Most importantly, it was taken seriously by the rest of the world. Well, you can thank Trump for changing the world's perspective on American politics for the foreseeable future. Trump's last memory in office will be him riling up his followers to storm the Capitol in outrage, and we all know what that lead to. So for the Day 1 Trump supporters out there, we have some questions for you. How do you feel about your leader's performance over the last 4 years? Are you content? Do you think he handled COVID well? Do you support his accusations of voter fraud without significant evidence? Do you condone his role in the Capitol Riot? How about spraying tear gas on peaceful protestors, all for a photo op? For the Christians and other faith groups, do you condone the sex scandals? For the female Trump supporters, would you work for an employer who likes to "Grab em by the ."? As usual, we will not be holding back any punches, as we break down our assessment on the Trump era and how it will be remembered.

Trump Supporters Riot at the Capitol/Trump Impeached an Historical Second Time Jan 16, 2021
    Show notes

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the brutal riot that took place at the capitol, killing 5, including law enforcement officer, Brian Sicknick. Violent protestors forced their way into the capitol, escalating into a deadly riot. Considering the violent nature of the deadly assembled mob, it's a miracle that there weren't more severe injuries and deaths. On Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, for the first time in United States history, the sitting president riled up his followers to storm the capitol, which turned violent and deadly. Therefore, the blood of Officer Sicknick is on the hands of Trump, who claims to be "a president of law and order." For those who continue to defend Trump, we understand that he's your guy for whatever political or nonpolitical reasons, but at what point do you have enough decency to understand that this man is a narcissist who only cares about his own best interest? Trump wasn't even humble enough to apologize to the families of the casualties of the riot. If not anything else, at least the family of Officer Sicknick, who died from injuries sustained from the Capitol Riot. Even Republicans were outraged to the point that 10 House Republicans voted to have Trump impeached. There are more Republicans who reportedly wanted to vote to have Trump impeached, but out of fear for their political careers and the safety of themselves and their families, chose to vote against impeachment. There is now an obvious divide in the Republican Party; those who stand with Trump and those who stand against Trump. Needless to say, the Republican Party is facing trying times, as they have begun to unravel. Having loss 3 of the last 4 elections and now both the senate and the house, it's time for some much needed reconstruction. Since the riot, Trump has shown no remorse or empathy for his role in riling up his followers to commit treason.
