Will You Be Taking The Coronavirus Vaccine? Jul 11, 2020

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the Coronavirus Vaccine. Vaccines have become a part of the norm with the Flu Shot) being the most common. The life altering impact of COVID-19 has changed our daily lives in many ways and with there being no cure, millions of Americans are waiting in anticipation for the development of a vaccine, so things can get back as normal as possible. We're being told that a vaccine could be ready as early as 2021 and while some are waiting desperately, others are uncomfortable and some even unwilling to take the vaccine. You can't help but wonder what the side effects and long-term effects might be from taking a new vaccine that most people feel like is being rushed. There are already numerous vaccines our children must get in order to attend school and it's pretty obvious that he COVID-19 Vaccine will be no exception. There are also many jobs that will be making it mandatory to take the Coronavirus Vaccine. The million dollar question is are YOU willing to take the vaccine in order to find work or keep your job and are you willing to allow YOUR CHILDREN to take the vaccine so they can physically attend school? These are the tough decisions we will be facing in the near future, as we continue to push to get to Phase 3. There's no way around it. For some, it will be "Take the vaccine or find a new job" and for parents, it will be "Let your kids take the vaccine or they can't come to school." If you're a person who is against vaccinations, this isn't gonna wit well with you. So where do you go from there?? Well you're in the right place because we will be diving into all of this. Independence Day 2020/COVID-19 Spikes/Trump's Handling Of Protests Jul 04, 2020

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing Independence Day 2020 (better known as July 4th or 4th of July), its tradition and where we are today with true independence. We will also be discussing the Trump Administration and its handling of the Coronavirus and the recent protests for police brutality on unarmed Blacks and racial equality. With new COVID-19 spikes in many states such as Texas and Florida, America is now headed in a downward spiral and the Coronavirus isn't going anywhere anytime soon. President Trump however, recently held a rally in Tulsa Oklahoma where he allowed the wearing of masks to be optional in a rally of thousands of attendees and since then, Secret Service and others of his staff have tested positive for COVID-19. Attendees of the rally have also reportedly come down with COVID-19. In this same rally, Trump goes on to say he asked to have the testing slowed down because when you do more testing, you find more cases. Of course we all know the more out of hand COVID-19 gets, the worse it looks on Trump's campaign for a second term. On a more humorous note, Donald Trump was reportedly trolled in the prediction for this rally. While there were hundreds of thousands of ticket requests, there were reportedly about 6,500 people in attendance. We will definitely be touching on this. There have been more videos released displaying police brutality, racial profiling and outright racism. Mark McCloskey, a St. Louis attorney, alongside his wife, aimed guns at protesters as they marched pass their home in route to Mayor Lyda Krewson’s home to demand her resignation after she released the personal information of protesters who called for defunding of the police. McCloskey claims they aimed guns at protesters out of fear for their safety. We will be discussing this as well as other developments. Don't miss out and as always, it's about to get real!

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be acknowledging Juneteenth, its history and its impact on Blacks in America. Juneteenth has recently received media exposure and many Americans who knew nothing or very little about it, have now been introduced to the tradition. Juneteenth is a day of remembrance for all Black Americans as it symbolizes freedom. 47 of the 50 U.S. sates celebrate or acknowledge Juneteenth. The 3 states that don't acknowledge Juneteenth are North Dakota, South Dakota and Hawaii. Since the senseless killings of George Floyd and more recently Rayshard Brooks along with other innocent/unarmed Black men and women, America has started to acknowledge the pain and suffering of Blacks that date all the way back to slavery. Many Americans are fed up and have now joined the fight to conquer systemic racism, racial profiling, police brutality and other forms of mistreatment of Black Americans. 2020 has brought more awareness to these deeply rooted issues than most of us can remember. Join us tonight as we pay homage to a day that symbolizes freedom of Black Americans. We encourage those of you who are still unfamiliar with this day to do your research. You will learn a lot about American history and how deeply rooted historical events have damaged Blacks for generations. You will also learn how resilient Blacks are as they fought long and hard for their freedom and eventually racial equality (which is still an ongoing battle). Do Black Lives Matter In America? Jun 13, 2020

Tonight, on “It's Real Talk Radio”, we will be sharing our views on if black lives really matter in America. With the recent chain of event, the conversation of black lives in America is now at the forefront, more so than ever. This is an unavoidable discussion. We as hosts of It's Real Talk Radio: Tay Real, Bobby G and Michel, are Black men and women who care deeply about racial equality and equal justice across the board and we have made an assertive effort to have our voices heard. It's time to address the elephant in the room and for too long, this uncomfortable discussion has been swept under the rug but it's is a new day and the with the recent record breaking amount of protests in regard to police brutality, racial inequality and equal justice, people are really speaking out and using their 1st Amendment rights to peacefully yet aggressively protest. The media has been covering racial inequality more than we've ever seen before and the discussions are starting to happen on a massive scale at the likes of which we've never seen. But what portion of the country would you say are in favor of black lives mattering? What percentage of Whites Americans do you think actually value Black lives enough to fight for equal justice, equal rights, equal quality of life and police brutality targeted at Black Americans? For those who choose to stay neutral and avoid these conversations, is that okay or are they a part of the problem? If you're Black with a White friend who is a Trump supporter, is that a problem and would this potentially compromise your friendship? Speaking of Trump, what do you think of his recent actions, statements and Tweets? Can someone be a Trump supporter and still think black lives matter? Protests/Riots/All 4 Arresting Officers Now Charged In George Floyd Homicide Jun 06, 2020

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be discussing the recent protests and riots around the country in response to the inhumane murder of Minnesota resident, George Floyd. You have to be living under a rock to not know about George Floyd's brutal murder which was captured on cell phone videos and shared all across social media and news outlets. As a direct response, people began to protest peacefully which in some cases, turned into rioting and looting. Some rioters even went as far as throwing objects at police officers and damaging police property. There was even a Minnesota police precinct that got burned down. George Floyd was killed on May 25, 2020. All 4 of George Floyd's arresting officers were fired from the Minneapolis Police Department 24 hours later on May 26, 2020. 3 days later, on May 29, 2020, former officer Derek Chauvin was charged with 3rd Degree Murder and Manslaughter. 5 days later, on May 3, 2020, the other 3 arresting officers at the scene of George Floyd's murder were charged with Aiding and Abetting Second Degree Murder and Derek Chauvin had his charge upgraded from 3rd Degree Murder, to Second Degree Murder. It took 4 days for Derek Chauvin to be charged and 9 days for the other 3 arresting officers to be charged. Meanwhile, public outcry roared across the media, social media and all throughout protests around the country, as concerned and scorn citizens demanded justice for George Floyd. Developments are occurring by the hour and we are doing our best to stay informed and updated so we can deliver the most accurate information possible during our discussion. We will also be touching on President Trump's controversial remarks to looters and rioters, while giving George Floyd's murder minimal attention and failing to unite the country in a time when it is greatly needed. Christian Cooper & Amy Cooper Standoff/George Floyd Killing/Breonna Taylor Case May 30, 2020

Tonight, on It's Real Talk Radio, we will be covering 3 of the most recently talked about events involving the black community, 2 of them tragic and 1 with the potential to end tragic. We start off with Amy Cooper (a white woman) who called the police on Christian Cooper (no relation) and falsely reported being threatened by an African American man (Christian Cooper) because she was angry that Christian Cooper asked her to put a leash on her dog and then started filming her once she started acting irrational and coming close to him. With the rise in exposure to unarmed black men and women being harmed and killed by police, this video was alarming to the Black community and its supporters, because everyone knows how this could have ended. Next we have the tragic killing of Houston native George Floyd who died in police custody due to suffocation, caused by Officer Chauvin (Derek Chauvin), a responding officer of the Minneapolis Police Department. This horrific slaying was caught on video and shared on social media where it went viral as public outcry began to dominate social media. Citizens of Minneapolis and neighboring counties began to rally in front of the Minneapolis Police Department, demanding justice for the brutal killing of George Floyd. The 4 involved officers including Officer Chauvin have since been fired but George Floyd's family, nor the public, are satisfied as outcry for the 4 involved officers to be charged with murder has begun to dominate story lines. Finally, we will be speaking on the horrific slaying of 26 year old Breonna Taylor, who was reportedly shot 8 times by officers of the Louisville Metro Police Department, who were allegedly conducting a "No-Knock Warrant." Breonna was reportedly asleep when officers entered her apartment unannounced causing her boyfriend Kenneth Walker to fire a shot, wounding an officer, which lead to officers returning fire, fatally wounding Breonna.
