THIS IS SPARTA! Every teenage boy you knew in 2006 would say this as they started kicking each other in the chest. You might even be one of them! Don't deny it, be proud. We all know this movie was DOPE, especially if you watched it in theaters. We talk about yet another Zack Snyder masterpiece, and why this movie is kinda, actually, a little bit historically accurate in a way. We discuss its visual appeal, amazing special FX, and honestly can't get over how ripped these mofos are. Gerard Butler, Lena Headey, and Michale Fassbender all give some great performances. The movie is currently trending on NETFLIX, so give it a watch and let us know what you think of the movie! Matchstick Men (2003) | Another Underrated Nicolas Cage Film Jan 28, 2022

Show notes

Although it is not well known, this movie is so good. It's an agoraphobic, OCD-suffering, conman Nicolas Cage who finally gets to meet his 14 year-old daughter. WHAT A GOOD PLOT. His acting, along with Sam Rockwell's, is absolutely impeccable and it's a shame that this is one of his lesser known films. Check the movie out on HBO Max, and check this episode out. It's fun a gets a solid ICBTB thumbs up from ya boyz. Don’t Look Up (2021) | We Really Did Have Everything, Didn’t We? Jan 21, 2022

Show notes

There's a reason why this movie has been on Netflix's Top 10 titles to watch for almost a month straight now. In our opinion, it is absolutely incredible and impeccably executed. We talk about why this movie masterfully balances drama, comedy, and satire while simultaneously being able to send a message. Along with fantastic performances from an ensemble cast consisting of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, and many more, this movie delivers a story that is too analogous with something we're all familiar with. Regardless of where your beliefs lie in today's climate and state of the world, give it watch and let us know what you think. Enjoy this episode, we really had fun talking about this film. Show notes

OLD SPORT! This week, we FINALLY review The Great Gatsby (2013) starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carrey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, and Tobey Maguire. Juliet is once again this week's guest cohost and is excited to tackle this Baz Luhrmann (her favorite director) film. We talk about how BEAUTIFUL this movie is, and how BEAUTIFUL Leo is. We dive deep into whether anyone in this film actually loved each other, or if they were all just kinda f***ed up all around. Christian gives us his best attempt at a Leo impression and Juliet is infuriated at how poorly received this movie was. 48% on Rotten Tomatoes?!!! COME ON! Baddies! The New Year is among us as well as a new episode! This week, we are joined by good friend and improviser, Nick Carrell, to talk about the many wonders of the world such as dating apps, not having social media, future goals in comedy, and much more. Nick DOES NOT look like Ted Lasso and claims that he would be the coolest worker at a Medieval Times as the Blue Knight. Alejandro is once again racially ambiguous and likes to deflect. Christian doesn’t know how to swipe right and shares his catchphrase with the world yet again. We end the episode with an improv scene about some dude named Nick Cafeteria, the descendant of the guy who invented Cafeterias.
