    In this episode I am joined by Adam Bradshaw, Commercial Director at ServerChoice based in the UK. Adam has extensive experience in the data centre sector and he shares a great insight to how the sector has changed and how it will continue to evolve in the future.
    Adam started his career as a technician before focussing on the sales and commercial aspects of the sector. He explains how he got the opportunity to work in the sector and his experiences of working for some of the first organisations to really make a mark in the data centre sector.
    We then discuss ServerChoice and how they are positioned in the UK market. Adam explains the benefits of being a specialist organisation and how changes in customer requirements have shaped the organisation.
    Finally we touch on how the sector has been impacted by situations such as Brexit and the war in Ukraine, as well as the global push to improve sustainability.

    In this episode I am joined by James Carmillet, Imogen Paton, and Dan Sheehan from Business Critical Solutions. We discuss the importance of apprenticeship schemes in the data centre sector.
    James outlines why BCS made the decision to invest in an apprenticeship scheme and how it has benefited them as an organisation. James outlines the process from how they find the candidates for the scheme to how they select who joins the scheme.
    We then speak with Imogen and Dan who are both currently working for BCS on the apprenticeship scheme. They outline how they found the position and how they found the process, how they have benefited from learning on the job, and their advice to others looking to follow the same path.

    Amy started her career in recruitment before developing a successful career in sales. We discuss how the skills learnt in recruitment were transferable to sales and how Amy found her way in to the world of data centres.
    We then discuss Custodian Data Centres who are going through a period of significant growth. Amy outlines the company strategy with a focus on how important customer relationships are to long term sustainable growth. We also discuss the new DA2 10MW data centre that is currently under construction, and why they made the decision to create a video blog of the project.
    Finally we talk about diversity and the importance of creating role models to attract a more diverse workforce to the data centre sector.
