I'll Call You Right Back #22 Pt. 2 - Evolfran Jun 07, 2018

Show notes

This week I sat down to talk with Jeremy Murray aka Evolfran. Jeremy is a Creator. I had the pleasure of interviewing him in his living room which is an art gallery in its own. Ive been following his work for some time now and Ive always really been a fan. I knew once I started the podcast id have to hit him up to find out what he was all about. Ive always had a love for art and his catches my eye for sure. He has an dope style to his work and you can check it out June 14th at Streets on Carson for his art show Dog Pile on The Rabbit. If you're free that night come through 1120 E Carson for some incredible art from Evolfran and come grab some delicious grub courtesy of Matt Christie from Tuesdays episode.

I had such a good time talking to both of my guests this week. I just love meeting new people and seeing what makes them tick. Jeremy and I talk about so much good shit. I really appreciate every single person who listens each week.

ALSO, I know I talk over people and interrupt people. Im sorry. Believe me I know. It makes me sick and this is all a work in progress. I promise I am working on correcting my flaws but hey...

Every rose has its thorn.

I'll Call You Right Back #22 Pt. 1 - Matt Christie Jun 05, 2018

Show notes

BONUS EP, SON!

We have two awesome guests on the podcast this week. The Artist (@evolfran) and the Location! (@streetsoncarson)

This week I sat down with the Owner & Head Chef of one of the best restaurants in the City of Pittsburgh. Matt Christie and his wife Lauren opened Streets on Carson in the Southside of the city and their food is seriously unreal. "Street foods from around the world." Every single thing I've ever eaten from Streets has been impeccable from taste to presentation. Ive wanted to talk to Matt ever since I've met him. I just wanted to pick his brain about how he created something so incredible with his restaurant. We had an awesome conversation.

Streets is going to be the location of Dog Pile On The Rabbit which is the reason why I am giving you two episodes this week. Dog Pile On The Rabbit is an art show created by Jeremy Murray aka @evolfran who you will hear on Thursday.

Matt and Jeremy have been friends for some time and they finally are making something incredible happen. I have seen so much of the artwork that Jeremy has created and Ive eaten my fair amount of Matts food. I can assure you both people are so good at what they do. Stop by Streets on Carson June 14th from 7pm-12 and check out Dog Pile On The Rabbit and take a look inside the minds of our guests this week.

Its located at 1102 E Carson St. I highly suggest you stop by.

I'll Call You Right Back #21 - Ali Siddiq May 31, 2018

Show notes

This week I sat down with a very special guest. Ali Siddiq is a Comedian from Houston and he has been doing Comedy for 20 years. I first saw him on The Church of Whats Happening Now with Joey Diaz but you might have seen on 'This Is Not Happening' or on his Comedy Central Special 'It's Bigger Than These Bars.' I messaged him after I seen he was coming to the Improv and asked if he would be interested in coming on and recording an episode and he hit me back and said "when and where?" I was nervous interviewing Ali. He's a famous guy. He has been through some shit and he has an interesting background. Jail, Drugs, Violence, you name it. We talk about it all with the time we had. He was such a cool person and I was just thankful my experience with him went as good as I hoped. I really enjoyed talking to him and it was a privilege to have him on the Podcast to drop some knowledge. I hope you enjoy this episode and Please go check out Ali's Special!

I'll Call You Right Back #20 - Dylan Ryan May 24, 2018

Show notes

This week I sat down with one of my best friends, Dylan Ryan. Dylan is the only reason you're reading this description today. 10 years ago he introduced me to Joe Rogan and from there our world changed. Over the last decade Dylan and I have listened to literally thousands of hours of podcasts. Its been such a huge part of our lives for so long that it is absolutely one of the biggest things we have in common. Him and I started a podcast about 5 years ago that only made it to 10 episodes so I thought it would only be right to have him on for my 20th episode. I was excited to sit him down and talk to him about everything from the progression of the podcast world to current movies and tv shows we're watching to the bizarre things going on in the UFC. I am very thankful to have him in my life and Im happy to keep putting out content for all of yinz. I hope you enjoy this conversation.

I'll Call You Right Back #19 - Flack412 May 17, 2018

Show notes

This week I sat down with the Legend Himself, Flack412. Flack is a Multimedia Content Creator/Cut Up/Sketch Artist by his definition but during this interview I learned so much more about him than what you'd find out on his Social Media Accounts. I found out Flack has had a lot of things happen in his life from touring around the US with some very well known rappers to being shot 4 times in the South Side and he tells me all about it in our conversation so I hope you enjoy it. I'll Call You Right Back #18 - My Mother May 10, 2018

Show notes

This week I sat down with the only reason I am even alive. This week in honors of Mother's Day I sit down with mine. Vicki Medved is one of the hardest working and motivational women I know. She raised me to be a good person. From work ethic to just being able to know how to carry myself... I owe it all to her and my father. I was really excited to sit down and talk with her. It's different for an adult. Podcasting is new to my mom. She became a supporter strictly because her son was doing it. I asked her to be on because she's done a lot in her life and I felt it was important. I wasn't sure how this interview was going to go but I was so happy with how it turned out. I love my mom and I hope you enjoy this podcast. Thanks for listening and please take a second to SUBSCRIBE, RATE, and REVIEW the podcast on iTunes!

I'll Call You Right Back #15 - Justin Criado Apr 19, 2018

Show notes

This week I traveled to Colorado with my wife and on my journey I had the oppertunity to sit down with Justin Criado. Him and I have been in each others lives for a long time. We played football together and I think that is how we initially met. Throughout the years we've stayed in touch and I knew I had to get Justin on. He moved to Colorado a year and a half ago and he decided to drive up to meet us and hangout so I knew we had to record an episode. He's is a well read man with great taste in culture. We have always bonded over music, sports, and movies growing up. Playing football with someone gives you a bond with them and it was great to be able to sit down and have a conversation with him after we became the men we are today. We talk about why he moved to Colorado, what he does for work, hiking, and much more. Take a listen and give me some feedback. I hope you enjoy it.
