Grant's Rant: 11-08-22 Awful NBA Officiating Nov 08, 2022

Show notes

Last night the end of a close game and another missed call by the NBA refs. This time they missed a call on Golden State's Klay Thompson as he clearly fouled the Kings Kevin Huerter as he attempted a 3 at the horn. Just a few nights ago in Miami the Kings got screwed again when the refs missed a travel call on a game winning 3 by Tyler Hero of the Heat. Two night s later the refs didn't call a blatant travel on Jerami Grant's game winning shot as the Blazers beat the Suns. What the hell is going on? Be better!

Grant's Rant: 11-07-22 Still Waiting Kings Nov 07, 2022

Show notes

The Sacramento Kings have to be the most inconsistent team in the NBA. Eight games is a small sample size yes, but do you see any difference in this team than past years? They are allowing 116.9 points a game and tonight play a Golden State team who comes in with a 5 game losing streak. When are the Kings going to put 4 good quarters together? Tonight might be a good idea to find some consistency!

Episode 210: Awful Week For The NBA Nov 04, 2022

Show notes

This has been an awful week for Adam Silver's league. The NBA looks bad, Kyrie Irving looks bad, and the Brooklyn Nets look bad. On today's podcast i read two columns from the NY Post that to me hit the nail right on the head. Both Phil Mushnick and Mike Vacarro write about several things regarding Irving and both writers rip Silver! I have been talking about this for many months. The Commish has become a puppet. Time to start running your league again!

Grant's Rant: 11-04-22 Kyrie=Embarrassment Nov 04, 2022

Show notes

Does anyone feel sorry for the Nets Kyrie Irving? The Nets threw Irving a life raft and he decided not to get in it. Yesterday Irving spoke to the media, but once again did not apologize for his anti-Semitic rhetoric. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made a terse statement after Irving spoke to the media and the Nets followed that up with a suspension. Three hours later, Irving finally apologized via Instagram. Too late in my opinion!

Grant's Rant: 11-03-22 Kings Screwed at The End Nov 03, 2022

Show notes

Last night the Kings lost to the Heat 110-107. Tyler Hero made a three at the end to win it for the Heat. The only problem was he took four steps. The basket should not have counted. Bad job by the three refs to miss that call! At the end of the game you can't miss a call like that! Period!
