    Lisa Jakub began her acting career as a child in Canada and decided to retire from acting at the age of 22. Lisa joins Matt to talk about her many roles as a child actor including her role as Lydia Hillard in 1993s Mrs. Doubtfire. Lisa tells us about her experience improvising intimately with Robin Williams, her book You Look Like That Girl which chronicles her life as a child actress, and the one time she was almost kidnapped.     Pulp Fiction with Phil LaMarr May 02, 2023

    Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face. These are the words John Travolta says after obliterating the face of this weeks guest, Phil LaMarr. This week actor, dancer, and martial artist Nicole Bilderback joins Matt to talk about her character Summer stealing a lit snowman, the story behind the Credit card Suck and Blow game, and the insane wardrobe budget for her character alone. Then, Nicole tells us about how the Mickey cheer/dance she prepared for her final Bring It On audition made its way into the film credits, her philanthropic organization, the New Hollywood, and being the unwitting poster girl for an IMDB lawsuit.     Derek Mears portrayed one of the most famous slashers of all time, Jason Voorhees in the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th. Derek joins Matt to talk about his action hero/cartoon character approach to the character, identifying with the young Tommy in Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter, and why the original ending of the film didnt test well with audiences. Derek also tells us about encountering a curious Harrison Ford while on the set of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, how he became a Classic Predator in Predators, and his experimental live improv action show The Resistance. Plus, Matt investigates which fictional character from cinema has killed the most people in a new segment called I Was Scared Too. The Resistance is a completely improvised action movie performed live on stage every Sunday night at 9pm at The Comedy Sportz Theater in Los Angeles.
