    JOHN MORGAN - PRINCESS DIANA'S DEATH Feb 15, 2021
    Show notes

This explosive book blows the lid on one of the most shocking crimes of our modern era. But it does more than that. How They Murdered Princess Diana is the most complete evidence-based account of the assassination of Princess Diana yet written. It delivers on providing answers to many of the key questions surrounding the 1997 Paris crash that took the lives of Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed – Who did it? Why was Diana assassinated? How was it carried out? It also exposes the massive inter-governmental cover-up that has taken place throughout the 17 years since the deaths.

This book takes the reader through the entire story – right from the breakdown of the Diana-Charles marriage through to the 2013 sham police “scoping” of allegations of SAS involvement made by Soldier N.

It covers the critical events that took place in Paris on the last day of Diana and Dodi’s lives. It reveals that the crash in the tunnel was orchestrated by MI6 on the orders of senior British royals. Princess Diana survived the crash but was effectively murdered by deliberate mistreatment in the ambulance by people who were supposed to be saving her.

The individuals involved in the murders are exposed – it is revealed that Sherard Cowper-Coles, former UK ambassador to Saudi Arabia, headed the MI6 operation on the ground in Paris. The roles of other operatives in this highly coordinated assassination are addressed in detail.

This is the first book to cover the complete story in such chilling detail – a true account using the witnesses own words that at times will leave the reader shocked, aghast and breathless.

How They Murdered Princess Diana shows that the 2007-8 London inquest into the deaths – headed by Lord Justice Scott Baker – was one of the most inept and corrupt inquests in the history of the British judicial system. It also exposes the 2004-6 Scotland Yard Paget investigation as a huge farce that was more dedicated to covering up the facts of what occurred than to uncovering truth.

MARTIN SAWA - OTHER SIDE OF SUCCESS Feb 12, 2021
    Show notes

The son of immigrants chases the California Dream in the world of real estate megadeals.

Nearly thirty, broke, and with a newborn daughter in tow, Martin Sawa quits his dead-end job and vows to fulfill the aspirations of his Ukrainian parents. Thus begins a relentless pursuit of financial success in the high-stakes world of commercial real estate.

Navigating the skyscrapers of San Francisco and the gritty streets of Oakland, Sawa is on the verge of making it. But his world comes crashing down around him when he suffers a devastating personal loss, causing him to reevaluate the meaning of success.

In the years before and after the new millennium, Sawa takes the reader through a time of sweeping technological, social, and political change in California. While grappling with apex predators on nine-figure deals in San Francisco real estate, he rides the entrepreneurial roller coaster of prosperity and ruin. Scrambling between boardrooms and juke joints, between priests and psychics, he sets out to realize the deal of a lifetime.

The Other Side of Success is the unvarnished account of one man’s search for meaning as his professional life is constantly challenged by the impact of love, family, religion, and race. In this intimate memoir, Sawa strives to find home in the truest sense, while struggling with the unforeseen costs of making it.

    PETER BLEKSLEY - MANHUNT Feb 11, 2021
    Show notes

Peter Bleksley was a founder member of Scotland Yard's undercover unit in the 1980s. He is now a director and co-owner of a business intelligence company

In the early hours of 19 June 2004, 16-year-old Liam Kelly was lured to a location in Liverpool and shot dead. The following year, another Liverpudlian, 22-year-old mother of three, Lucy Hargreaves, was shot dead in her own home. Her partner and their 2-year-old daughter escaped after the house was set alight by leaping from a first-floor bedroom window.

For more than fifteen years, six-foot six-inch, broadly built, ginger-haired Kevin Parle has been wanted by the police for both murders. How could he have evaded national and international crime investigators for so long? Who is harbouring him?

Author and former Scotland Yard detective and undercover cop, Peter Bleksley, is determined to find the answers. He has immersed himself again in the world of serious and organised crime, this time armed only with a pen, a notebook and a mobile phone. He has vowed not to rest until Parle is found.

This gripping story goes behind the scenes of the hit BBC Sounds podcast, Manhunt: Finding Kevin Parle.

    Show notes

When superhumans begin to show up, the US government steps in to...well...govern them. Billy B is one of the most powerful super folk around, leader of a team of similarly endowed characters headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and handled by Uncle Sam. Life is what you might expect for any group of workers put together for a common task, except that these people can pulverize concrete blocks with their bare hands, or fly through steel plate, or melt rock with a glance, or read your mind, or any of dozens of other abilities far beyond those of mortal man. Still, though, things seem to go according to Federal plan until a dozen Roman gods come back to Earth to pick up where they left off a couple of thousand years ago. At that point it's up to Billy B and his super folk to keep the peace. Read it now, for the first time, from the pen of the baddest of the bad: Billy B in the first volume of his fully authorized autobiography.

TIMOTHY JAY SMITH - FIRE ON THE ISLAND Feb 03, 2021
    Show notes

The arsonist has struck eleven times in as many months, each fire coming closer to tiny Vourvoulos, and each followed by a mysterious poison pen letter. The last one makes it clear: the arsonist plans to strike within days. With no clues, Nick searches for a motive that would drive someone to such a destructive act. He discovers a village embroiled in conflicts, some dating back generations, and uncovers earlier crimes—all casting a wide net of suspicion.

Gradually the mystery is revealed through the interwoven stories of a struggling restaurant owner and her feminist teenage daughter, a seductive widow and lovelorn waiter, a scurrilous priest and patrician mayor, and a host of colorful characters who paint a portrait—both humorous and soulful—of Greece where the past mingles with the present. While sorting it out, Nick’s life is threatened, and he falls in love with a young waiter who becomes his chief suspect.

Miscalculating the plan of attack, ultimately Nick has only minutes to stop the arsonist. He races for the fuel tank and toward an unexpected conclusion.
