***This episode contains spoilers for The Little Mermaid***
The newest live-action Disney remake is finally here and... it's not that bad!! Sydney and I break down why The Little Mermaid is able to stand tall in a sea of mediocre live-action remakes. Minus The Scuttle Butt, we do not defend that song.
Then, Sydney and I go through 15 of the past Disney Live-Action Adaptations and place them in a tier list. Which movies will be in the S tier? Which movies will be in F??? Listen to find out!!

Thanks to our wonder patron Daxh, Claira and I are revisiting Gareth Edward's Godzilla (2014). A movie that I must admit, I was not a fan of initially...but now? A very different story.
Enjoy our in-depth conversation on the G-Man and what makes him so great!

The dog days are over! Sydney and I discussed the many highs (and a few lows) of the MCU latest. The soundtrack, the decisions, that hallway fight scene! Afterwards, we then discussed our favorite movies that invoke the very popular found family trope!

Is there a single soul on this planet that truly dislikes, The Princess Bride? If so, my response: inconceivable.
Joining me in today's episode is Reece Feldman, aka: guywithamoviecamera. Yes, we know he is a social media expert, but he's also a very passionate fan of The Princess Bride. I asked him 10 (sort of) simple questions about the movie, ranging from his favorite scenes to asking him if we will ever see a remake of this timeless classic.

***This episode contains some spoilers for Evil Dead Rise***
With the latest entry in the Evil Dead franchise now out in theaters, Sydney and I discussed how it was a hit and maybe a little bit of a miss (but mostly a hit). Then, we played our favorite game, FLOP OR BOP, predicting the future of 2023 horror movies. Some exciting ones! (Talk to Me) and some less exciting ones (The Nun 2)

A special revisiting episode! I was joined by good friend Maia, also known as singer/songwriter mxmtoon to discuss the iconic movie, The Lego Batman Movie! A film, by the way, that was explicitly chosen by Maia and not by me.
Be sure to check out Maia's music and social media profile!

The podcast happily welcomes back Bobbbi from The Afternoon Special! The last time Bobbi was here, we discussed and ranked our 5 favorite movies from the Renaissance era of Disney. Now, we are attempting to tackle the Post-Renaissance era...an era that some people have deemed as "bad". Which, I am not sure if we could blame them? Here are the movies from the post-renaissance era:
Fantasia 2000, Dinosaur, The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, and Bolt
We discussed:
- Are there any actual fans of Home on the Range?
- Dinosaur was a weird movie
- Is Chicken Little annoying? (yes)
- will any of these movies make a good Live-Action remake?
