    This week we’re going to talk about Sanguinaria – it’s an amazing remedy from the Papaveraceae family of plants. It’s called “Rose cold” – it’s a very right-sided remedy that is helpful for hay fever colds, and it’s famous for cough after influenza.

    In addition to the above, Sanguinaria has powerful action on the outer chest sternum and breasts it has been known to cure cancer polyps and new growths. John H Clarke saw breast tumors diminished under its action. Grimmer stated that this remedy has cured breast cancer with severe Burning Pains and inflammatory symptoms of the mucus membranes the respiratory and gastrointestinal track and the skin there is much heat flashings and redness of the skin. This remedy has characteristic burning pains wherever pain exists.

    This week we’re talking about the homeopathic remedy Clematus Erecta. This is a wonderful rash remedy when related to the mucus membranes!

    It is the nature of this remedy to act upon the glandular and mucus tissues of the body: swelling, inflammation, indurations (Hardening of a tissue or part), corrosion: all worse at night and for the warmth of the bed. One of the big indications of this Clematus rash is the itchiness and it feels better when washing in super-hot water.

    Special Action Alert: Important Update from Paola Brown of Americans for Homeopathy Choice Dec 19, 2019

    This is a special action alert episode – I just did a quick interview this morning with Paola Brown from Americans for Homeopathy Choice about our fight to keep our access to Homeopathy here in the USA. In case you did not know:

    Homeopathy Remains at Risk. Please help us get an extension at the FDA! We must act now!
    The good news is that the homeopathy community successfully beat back the conceptually flawed and poorly worded Draft Guidance on homeopathy put out by the FDA in 2017. The agency recently withdrew that guidance. It then issued a new revised Draft Guidance. Some of the changes were helpful, and some were detrimental.

    Unfortunately, the detrimental changes were very detrimental, and we must now pressure the FDA to revise this guidance considerably. We can do that by getting a very large number of people to ask for a 180-day extension in order to allow us to respond properly.

    Even if you don’t listen to this whole episode – please go to https://homeopathychoice.org/fdacomment/ and commenting on the guidance there. It literally takes a few seconds to do it! Sign up everyone in your home – any American citizen can comment and international listeners are welcome to comment too!

    Molluscum Contagiosum: How Homeopathy Can Help Dec 05, 2019

    This week on Homeopathy for Mommies, Sue Meyer shares some homeopathic remedies that are helpful in cases of molluscum contagiosum.This week on Homeopathy for Mommies, Sue Meyer shares some homeopathic remedies that are helpful in cases of molluscum contagiosum.

    Molluscum Contagiosum, is a viral skin infection that causes either single or multiple raised, pearl-like bumps (papules) on the skin. It is a chronic infection, so lesions may persist from a few months to a few years. However, most cases resolve in six to nine months.

    Causes of Molluscum Contagiosum

    Molluscum contagiosum is caused by a virus (the molluscum contagiosum virus) that is part of the pox virus family. The virus is contagious through direct contact and is more common in children. However, the virus also can be spread by sexual contact and can occur in people with compromised immune systems. Molluscum contagiosum can spread on a single individual through scratching and rubbing.

    What Are the Symptoms of Molluscum Contagiosum?

    Common locations for the molluscum contagiosum papules are on the face, trunk, and limbs of children and on the genitals, abdomens, and inner thighs of adults. The condition usually results in papules that:

    • Are generally painless, but can itch
    • Are small (2 to 5 millimeter diameter)
    • Have a dimple in the center
    • Are initially firm, dome-shaped, and flesh-colored
    • Become softer with time
    • May turn red and drain over time
    • Have a central core of white, waxy material

    Molluscum contagiosum usually disappears spontaneously over a period of months to years in people who have normal immune systems. In people who have AIDS or other conditions that affect the immune system, the lesions associated with molluscum contagiosum can be extensive and especially chronic.
