The gates of Mordheim grow ever closer! Shoutout to all those scumlords who are heading to NEMO this weekend, we are putting this out a couple days early to give you something to enjoy during your travels!

Thanks for joining us for Episode 25. Today we've officially ousted Terry and replaced him with the much more handsome Paulie Mordheim (@wyrdstoned). Paul brought us our topic for today, "what type of gamer are you?" What do we like in a game, what do we look for in a game, what do we want to get out of a game, and how does the hobby side tie into it all? Phil talks about how he creates his narratives in his head through the act of playing the game, and Steve talks his love for Morrowind and how it informed his obsession for exploration rolls. Paul talks about almost losing an eye pewter casting, and Gage talks about how it's style over everything in gaming, starting with a seed of a narrative prompt and building off it.

Hear ye, Hear ye! Gather round denizens for another haunting tale of grimdark goodness. Thanks for joining us for Episode 24. Today we are acting on our goals we've set and Phil's taking us on a journey into the Nü Age of Sigmar. He breaks down the detailed map he's drawn up for the new campaign and how it'll all work. In true Hive Scum fashion we have a bit o' banter (and arguing) about it. Terry talks about his idea for a new Vastarian cult, the Convent of the Sacred Mask, Steve professes a newfound love of One Page Rules Age of Fantasy Regiments and talks about his game with Maggot Ian. We imagine a world where Phil wields a finger smashing hammer for any time anyone comes up with a bad idea, and Gage drinks a diet Dr. Pepper and talks painting his chaos dwarves while trying to control the audio levels. Wish us luck in figuring out a solution for our broken VCR/DVD player. We are not sure what to do and we may have to cancel NEMO is we can't watch the Mummy Trilogy.

Today is a bigtime goal-making day and tonkin' about the future - and boy, does it look bright, or dark, or grim, whichever you like. We discuss all of the dreams we have for our hobby lives post-New England Mordheim Open. Gage leads us in a discussion of Ben (@apocrypha_now) and we gush hard about his enthusiasm and wild-idea generating brain, and offer a few (genius) suggestions for games. Phil discusses his goal of reinventing the Age of Sigmar campaign, and how he plans to draw out the map of the campaign (watch out MWG Studios). Steve goes coke zeroless this episode, and talks about how hoarding unpainted models is peak hobby brain activity. Terry is curious about our grimdark ancestors, and begins his musings of blanchistu of adepticon's past. Luckily we have the Wier's brains to tap for knowledge.
