While a former flame tries to convince Richie "Rawdawg" Ryan to raise a child that isn't his, Duncan must take revenge on the racist cartoon character/murderous biker that killed his adoptive Sioux family. The Rewatchers practice their basketball trash talk, indulge some Season 1 style tomfoolery with a debauched priest, and try to unpack the world's craziest quickening. Minisode HL2 - HL2 Q&A Mar 17, 2017

Show notes

Unsurprisingly, Highlander fans had a lot of questions, comments, complaints, observations, and and incredibly detailed analyses (even by Rewatcher standards) on Highlander 2: Don't Bring it Up. Audio for this special bonus episode is pulled from the Rewatchers first Facebook live hang (still available on Facebook @ Highlander Rewatched), in which the Rewatchers address your incredible feedback, including: the power needs of an implausible bullet train, the origins of old man Connor's drink order, crazy universe mashups, and more!

3 -1 The Samurai Mar 14, 2017

Show notes

In this beloved fan favorite, Duncan must wrestle with an age-old promise and his own honor when a young mortal woman cuckolds (and attempts to murder) her immortal husband and flees to Mac for assistance. In their inaugural Season 3 episode, the Rewatchers meditate on the nature of honor, discuss Mac's transformation from a barbarian to stoic warrior that knows how to bathe, and rejoice in the rekindled bromance with Charlie.

HL2: The Supercut! Mar 07, 2017

Show notes

There can be only one audio file! This supercut is perfect for those gluttons for punishment that need all four chapters dedicated to Highlander 2: Agents of (the) Shield Corp in one glorious package, chock full of over analysis, farcical behind the scenes stories, games, and more!

HL2: The Quickening - Episode 4 Feb 28, 2017

Show notes

All good things must come to an end, and so too (thankfully) must the Rewatchers' needlessly detailed look Highlander 2: the Full Measure of Zeist. In their fourth and final episode, the Rewatchers stage the world's most pointless prison break, bid a bizarre farewell to Ramirez (and John C. McGinley's nards), and try to unpack the multiple endings to this monstrosity.

HL2- The Quickening - Episode 3 Feb 21, 2017

Show notes

The Rewatchers ignore their own advice and keep thinking (and thinking and thinking) about Highlander 2: It's Going to Rust, so you don't have to! In their third episode, the Rewatchers delve deep into the Ramirez adaptation of Hamlet, welcome Michael Ironside to Earth with the world's fastest murder train and worst cooking show, and try to unlearn Sean Connery's gross theories on women (especially the dark-haired women of history).

HL2: The Quickening - Episode 2 Feb 14, 2017

Show notes

In the second episode of their review of Highlander II: Don't Think About It, our heroes finally journey to distant planet Zeist (or maybe the ancient past?!?) to scratch their heads along side some immortal rebels. Join the Rewatchers as they dig into a fantastic opening opera, telepathically communicate (maybe?) with some priestly judges, and try to figure out why Connor throws the female lead into a dumpster.

HL2: The Quickening - Episode 1 Feb 07, 2017

Show notes

Free men (and women) of Zeist, hear us! You stand without an exhaustive review of the infamous Highlander II for the last time. In the first step of their epic quest to unpack this baffling sequel, the Rewatchers explain the various versions of the film, debate the virtues of hammy screen legend Michael Ironside, dish on Connor's bizarre old man existence, and struggle in vain to determine which plot in this movie is the "B-Plot."

Bonus Episode 2-9: The Rewatcher's Funniest Home Clips Feb 03, 2017

Show notes

The Rewatchers had too much Season 2 goodness to cram it all into just one Season Recap, so they needed another Bonus (Double Bonus?) Episode to contain this supercut of their funniest moments from Season 2! Enjoy this perfect warm-up for next weeks' special look at the (less intentionally) hilarious Highlander II.

Bonus Episode 2-8 Season 2 Year in Review Jan 31, 2017

Show notes

In this special Bonus Episode, Keith administers a dreaded performance review for Eamon and Kyle with their fate as Rewatchers hanging in the balance. Join the Rewatchers for a fun recap of Season 2, an incredible supercut of the best (and worst) gags to date, a series of incredible games to test your Highlander knowledge, contentious debates on the highs and lows of the season, and so much more!
