Show notes

Happy New Year, friends! To kick things off for the year, I welcome my guests, Brian and Virginia Giordano, to discuss their phenomenally beautiful, hilarious, and educational zine, UFOLOJOY! I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this zine is - it's everything I could ever want a zine about UFOs and Fortean topics to be. This is a must-have! The three of us enjoyed a rollicking conversation about their zine, personal experiences, art, and other glorious Fortean topics. This is a fun one, folks. Enjoy!!

John Carlson: The Case of the Southern Oregon Portals Dec 19, 2024

Show notes

Oooooohh buddies, I have a fascinating episode for you! John Carlson is my guest this week, and it is a doozy. I don't want to say too much in this description, I'll just say this: If you dig portals and otherworldly creatures coming out of said portals, then this episode is for you! Below, I've linked John's six-part (so good!) blog on the events, and I've also attached the original Binnall of America episode (with Tim's permission, of course) with Adam Davies and John. I think you're really going to enjoy this! Peace.

Amanda Paulson: The Real Deal Dec 12, 2024

Show notes

Yoooooooo friends! This week, I have on the brilliant, Amanda Paulson! Amanda is a paranormal investigator/content creator who is 10000% the real deal. Amanda is out there experimenting, investigating, researching, and poking the paranormal bear. She's likely the most courageous person I've ever talked to in these Fortean fields. I mean it. So...we obviously get into her experimentations, investigations, and all that good stuff, but we also cover her wildly unique theory entitled the Paranormal Emotive Touchpoint (PET). I found this to be a wonderfully refreshing take on approaching high strangeness, and she was kind enough to share with me her point of view on how to commune with the other. I loved it! Please, do yourself a favor, read up on her theory, and watch her Tiktok for some great videos on her work. I became an instant fan. We also delve into her upcoming documentary - I was lucky enough to peep a screener, and it is fantastic! Enjoy, friends.

Matthew Tannam-Elgie: Mothman: The Film That Never Was Nov 21, 2024

Show notes

Hi buds -on this week's episode, I have on documentary filmmaker, Matthew Tannam-Elgie! Matthew popped up on my radar when I heard about his upcoming documentary, MOTHMAN: THE FILM THAT NEVER WAS, about Hollywood film production's attempt to make a feature film (not the Richard Gere version!) out of the Fortean classic, The Mothman Prophecies. The crew shot on-location, in Point Pleasant, WV in the 1990's, and what happened next is bonkers! Without spoiling too much of the upcoming film, Matthew gives us a rundown of what happened, and what we can expect in this exciting new documentary. We also chat about modern para-politics, and other related topics. I'm so excited to see this film! Enjoy!
