Robert Guffey: Encoded Cinema and Hollywood Taboos Jan 15, 2026

Show notes

HI friends! This week, my guest is the legendary fringe culture author, Robert Guffey! Robert has been writing about conspiracy culture for years now, and has contributed a lot wildly fascinating stories, books, magazine articles to this field of interest. On this episode, we spend most of the time discussing his new book Hollywood Haunts the World, which focuses on encoded cinema and cultural taboos. I don't want to spoil too much here, but we get into intel agencies involvement in screenwriting, things you can say in fiction, but not in real life, and a whole lot more. Being a deep fan of cinema history, I have to say that this one hit the spot perfectly for me. Enjoy!

Smiles Lewis: UFOs: What's the deal? Dec 18, 2025

Show notes

Hey hey hey! This week my guest is the brilliant, Smiles Lewis! Smiles is someone I've wanted to have on the show from the get go. He's one of my favorite thinkers in the UFO game, and also, was an OG in the 90s zine scene. We cover a lot of ground - we reference some of Smiles' thoughts on what UFOs represent, and how they've been manipulated since the beginning. We also cover some of the happenings in the analogue zine scene of the 90's. What a time! I hope you all enjoy it!

Richard Soule: Nebraska Bigfoot Research Dec 04, 2025

Show notes

Hey buddies! This week, my guest is Nebraska based bigfoot researcher, Richard Soule. Richard has documented, and researched the bigfoot situation in Nebraska more than anyone else that I'm aware of, and he's got the miles on his boots to prove it. Richard not only documents, but has interacted with these creatures for a good bit now, and he's learned a lot from his boots on the ground research. Almost no one thinks of Nebraska when it comes to bigfoot, but there are a good amount of cases in history, and currently going on today. This is a fun one! Richard also has an incredible website, Nox Gigas, where he keeps all his wonderful documentation and research. It's great stuff. Enjoy!

Stephanie Quick: Sex Magic and Erotic Mysticism Part One Nov 20, 2025

Show notes

Howdy partners! This week, coming back for second appearance, is the brilliant Stephanie Quick! Stephanie gave a wonderful and illuminating talk on her Youtube channel recently, which was an overview of sex magic and erotic mysticism, and I thought it was so fascinating that I wanted to do an entire show on the subject. So...I was lucky enough to get Stephanie back on to do an overview of some of the personalities involved. I found this to be a wonderful history lesson for myself, and gave me a way clearer picture of the history, and it's importance. I hope you all enjoy it!
