EP 15 PREGAME Feb 14, 2018

Show notes

We're back after what seemed like an extremely long week off. What was the reason for our absence you ask? It's all explained in this pregame.

The short version: We had a heated disagreement and decided to scrap last week's show due to it not feeling like something we'd normally put out. Maybe one day it will surface and you can hear us get into it (the file still exists).

So listen in as the Heroes of Noise prove to you that real heroes hug it out. On top of all that, there's also a bunch of other random shiz being discussed just like all the other pregames. Hope you like.

Subscribe to our show on iTunes, Stitcher, GooglePlay, or wherever podcasts are heard. Please leave us a 5 star review on iTunes and/or Stitcher. It helps us get our show out there. Thank you in advance.

BONUS: EP 14 PREGAME Jan 30, 2018

Show notes

You never know what's gonna pop up for conversation on this show. Hell...neither do we! Hope this tides you over until Wednesday when we drop Episode 14.

This week on the pregame:

We dive deep into Steve's severe case of Trypophobia.
We talk about the incident in Mumbai with the guy that got sucked into the MRI unit (we didn't have the whole story yet, FTR)
Steve ponders why more black people don't like rock and roll, so we try to get to the root of the matter.
Dan gives examples of some heavy bands either completely comprised of or fronted by black people (bands referenced: Bad Brains, Hirax Candiria, Unlocking the Truth)
We get into the stylings and interview techniques of various radio and TV show hosts and ask the question

That's pretty much the jist of it. Now here's the formalities:

BONUS: EP 13 PREGAME Jan 24, 2018

Show notes

Greetings! Here's another pregame for you good people. You know the drill: This is just our warm up that we do prior to recording the show. A lip loosening, if you will.

This week on the Pregame:

There's no other way to put it. This pregame is a crappy one. The first 30-40 minutes of this pregame episode is literally talk about dropping deuces. No, seriously. Somehow we make a 180 degree turn and get into a more serious conversation / friendly debate about about race and understanding. You know, we get deep like that sometimes. Enjoy and then move on to the big show.

Deuces! (pun intended)

BONUS EP 12 Pregame Jan 17, 2018

Show notes

NOTE: We had some pretty crappy technical difficulties while recording the last half of the actual show so we decided to put this out early in anticipation of getting Episode 12 out late due to the extra editing time. Thanks for your patience.

What's up, folks? Here's another pregame for you. You know the drill: This is just our warm up that we do prior to recording the show. A lip loosening, if you will.

We learn Dan is a coffee snob and also used to rock a mullet.

Episode 11 - The Disaster Artist, Black Mirror, Bright, and the Golden Globes Jan 10, 2018

Show notes

Welcome back! This week on Episode 11 we give some love to The Disaster Artist, Black Mirror, and we also give our honest opinion on the Netflix Original "Bright". Being that we recorded on the day the Golden Globes were held, we also make some predictions. But were we right? Only one way to find out. Better start listening.

Episode 10 - 2017 In Review Jan 04, 2018

Show notes

Happy New Year, everyone! We're glad to be back after taking a couple of weeks off from our normal show. Now don't let this blow your mind, but we decided to do a 2017 year in review. You know...something that no other podcast is doing. ;0)

We talk about all of the television and cinema that hit us just right in 2017 and also go over a little rock talk. We even make a little time for an impromptu game at the end.

So sit back, do yard work, work out, screw, or whatever it is you do when listening to HON and get ready for our (almost) 3 hour 1st podcast of 2018. This year is going to be big for our show. We can feel it.

BONUS: EP 10 PREGAME Jan 03, 2018

Show notes

Happy New Year! It's been a while since we did a pregame, but I think they're making a strong comeback in 2018. It's like stretching before you exercise.

For anyone that hasn't heard a pregame: This is pretty much just us warming up and talking about the first thing that comes to mind. Usually we end up having a blast doing them.

This week we talk the obligatory new year shiz. Then we follow it up with a discussion of where CA goes from here now that cannabis is legal. That's pretty much it. Hope you don't mind if this comes out a day before the actual show does. We just missed last week so we got itchy to put something out. Anyway, blah blah and all that. Hope you like. Talk to you tomorrow.
