How To Discipline Your Thinking So That You Get What You Really Want In Life! Self Mastery Wisdom From Dr. Joe Dispenza, Abraham Hicks and Shi Heng Yi Nov 09, 2021
    Show notes

What does it mean to "discipline your thinking" and how is this directly tied to you feeling like you have it all?

I want to shine light on what is probably the biggest thing keeping you from having it all in your life -- undisciplined thinking.

Undisciplined thinking is being a victim to your thoughts.

Undisciplined thinking leads to feelings of angst, fear, worry, anxiety, anger, resentment, and pain....consistently.

Undisciplined thinking, when left unchecked, will be what sabotages you from HAVING IT ALL and truly being in love with your life.

I had my own experiences recently that showed me where I was in my mental discipline, and laid out in front of me very plainly how chaotic things can get within my mind and body when my thoughts are left unchecked.

Ask yourself this question: how disciplined am I with my thoughts, one a 1-10? How effective am I at steering my thoughts in a direction I want them to go in? How comfortable am I being with my own thoughts?

In today's episode, I'm bringing you wisdom from Dr. Joe Dispenza, Abraham Hicks and Shi Heng Yi about the power of your thinking and the importance of cultivating control over your thoughts.

Learning these tips WILL allow you to create what you desire in your life and truly feel like you have it all!

How To Stop Taking Things So Personally (Yes, It's Possible!) (Rebroadcast) Oct 12, 2021
    Show notes

Why does it feel so hard at times to not take things personally?

We hear the phrase "don't take this personally" all the time. You've probably said it to someone before making some potentially hurtful or offensive statement. It's such an easy idea, but boy can it be tough!

For me, I used to take things very personally. Growing up, my emotions would be triggered by the slightest look or question that I felt was off or directed at me in a malicious way. I made villains out of a lot of people, I felt small and hurt often, and I just plain took things personally really frequently.

But I had my breakthrough moment!

Yes, I was able to connect with some deep truths about myself and others that have helped me learn to not take things personally. And today I'm going to share those truths with you so that you too can break free from the trap of taking things personally in life.

What The Birth Of My Child Has Taught Me About Faith (It's Not What You're Thinking) (Rebroadcast) Sep 14, 2021
    Show notes

This episode is all about FAITH, but not in the most widely used sense. I’m talking about having supreme confidence and trust in someone or something.

I look at faith like this: FAITH = TRUST + SURRENDER.

On Sunday September 11th, 2016, Sarah and I welcomed the birth of our daughter Maya. Through that experience I both witnessed and practiced the most humbling amount of trust and surrender that I have in my life thus far.

Sarah surrendered to her body, to the labor waves, to her coaches. I trusted in our preparation, in the team we assembled, and in my ability to support.

Witnessing what I can only describe as pure faith on the parts of everyone involved, I began to think about the other areas in my life where my personal faith is lacking. Where I’m failing to trust someone or something, and where I’m fighting for control rather than surrendering.

This episode is all about faith, trust and surrender. I briefly talk about Maya’s birth experience, but spend the bulk of the episode diving into what it looks and feels like when we lack faith in our lives.

What you’ll hear in this episode:

    • A powerful re-contextualization of faith that you can apply to your life
    • Examples of what lacking faith, trust and surrender look and feel like
    • A call for you to examine what processes you’re hindering through your lack of faith

“I Can’t F*&%$#@ Do This” - Breaking Your Fear Patterns Once And For All (Rebroadcast) Sep 07, 2021
    Show notes

By now you might have heard of the Tony Robbins documentary “I am not your guru”. It’s been making its way around Netflix and the internet. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend you give it a watch!

Well, I checked it out the other day and can honestly say that few other documentaries have inspired me as much as this one.

It wasn’t Tony Robbins who inspired me. I love his approach to personal transformation. I love how raw and real he is. I love his boldness and that he’s not afraid to call people on their bullshit. All of that makes for some compelling tv!

But no, it wasn’t Tony who inspired me.

Instead, I was inspired by the people in the documentary who recognized their opportunity for breakthrough, and boldly stepped into it.

This happens a handful of times in the documentary, and each time it’s amazing to watch them process the situation, become aware of their breakthrough moment, analyze the risk/reward, confront the terror that comes up, and take ACTION!

This episode is about what it really takes to experience a breakthrough in your life. To get unstuck. To start experiencing things in a dramatically different way. It takes action. It takes movement. It takes getting out of your head and getting into your heart and doing something that you know to be the best move for you, but terrifies you completely.
