I wanted to bring her on because she has a hilarious personality, a great storyteller, a very honest human who’s been through a lot.

She is an entrepreneur who had a lot of ups and downs and made it through them.

We get into a lot of WWE. So if you're a fan of wrestling, like I was when I was younger, you'll enjoy this episode. Kind of takes you behind the scenes.

One thing you can do to grow a podcast substantially faster is to COPY others that have done it….

I’m a fan of copying and stealing.

Not maliciously of course, but the concept of modeling and adapting stuff.

I’ve done it all my life.

Podcasting is no different, look at what is working then see how you can spin off a similar concept that works.

Today, I’ve done one. Guess and do it. Find out if it works for you :)

Okay take a step back and think about all the hard work you put into your podcast.

I bet it is a lot, and I bet you're not getting paid directly to do it.

I’m no different as I write this. It's 12:49 AM, jeezz and yes I STILL write my intros because I fell I need to inject my corny sense of humor and slick talkin’ in here and there :)

So, how much time does it take to produce YOUR podcast?

36mins? One hour ? 2 hours? 5 hours?

Think about the process for a sec.

There is tracking down the guest, setting up the interview, preparing for the meeting, doing the interview, editing the audio, writing show notes, doing graphics, so people even know it exists lol.

Then sending the files to the guest.

And praying to God that they even make a faint attempt to share it…

Jeez. That was a lot of typing.

So how long is it for you?

Here’s a better question how much do you charge per hour for what you do?

$100? $200 $300 $750 ?

Is it worth it? You decide.

PSTTTT can I tell you one secret about podcasting …?

I learned this after researching, studying, analyzing, and analyzing tons of the top shows, the Pat Flynn’s, John Lee Dumas’, the Tim Ferriss’ for years… year freaking years.

I BET you won’t see this coming; I know it because I didn’t see it either.

It was pretty refreshing but again a stark reminder that this is an actual long game.

Okay okay, I’ve teased it enough, the secret…?

For your show to grow, you’ve got to get scrappy and resourceful.

Today I’m going to help you achieve those TWO things. You see shows grow over timeeeeee not overnight.

Even the BIGGEST names have come to me saying “man I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t grow my show.”

You’d be shocked to see it not only you.

Scrappy and resourceful means you use every piece of real estate, every opportunity, every collab, every post (well okay almost every position), every new relationship to promote, share and connect with new potential podcast listeners.
